Talk about disappointing and frustrating. We had made reservations here months ago and arrived a bit early. No one answered so we thought we would drive around and come back at the appointed hour. We went back at 5 pm and there was still no answer and no sign of anyone being there. We called the number listed on the...

Running out of time (and light) during a photoshoot in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, I was guided to Herons Burn B&B Omagh by a local in nearby Gortin. The house, which is on a quiet country road a few miles from Omagh town centre, was clean and warm, and had a separate doorway allowing me to freely leave and enter...

Set in the beautiful location of Gortnagarn only a couple of miles outside of Omagh, this B&B takes some beating. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the double room was v spacious and clean and modern and comfortable. Ensuite too. As a bonus, the room had its own door to outside where we had use of a patio...

We have now stayed at Wendy & Richard's three times, and seen the accomodation develop over the years. This time our stay was in the en suite double with its own entrance, enabling you to come and go as you please, and not having to trek through the house with your luggage. Breakfast is plentiful - the local sausages are...

Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely rural setting convenient to the Ulster American Folk Park. Wendy is a friendly host and provides a delicious breakfast. The room was spacious enough for a family of four with its own separate entrance. Lovely big garden great for kids to run around in.

Had a wonderful stay with our hosts Wendy and Richard and they couldn't do enough for us. Accomodation was very homely and clean and comfortable, with all rooms having on suite facilities. Started each day with a lovely breakfast. The guest house is in a very nice location and the grounds are kept to a very high standard. Seperate dining...

An en-suite bed and breakfast room with it’s own front door is a nice touch and the gardens are immaculately kept. The breakfast is excellent and the hospitality first class. Their recommendations for the Ulster American Folk Park and the Foot Hills Restaurant were spot on, Herons Burn is well worth the short detour from the main road.
