Arrived at 6 to find no one at home. Had no phone with us so had to borrow a phone from a lady on the street. Room was so small, only room for a bed. Bath down the steps and down the hall. Bed very soft and uncomfortable. Pipes in the wall noisy and you could hear people walking in...

Hi Susan , thank you for your review. The person who lent you the phone was very kind. The room is small and contains a double bed and Dressing table with a facility to hang clothes etc. It is advertised as Double room with Private Bathroom and for this reason is our least expensive room. All our beds have memory...

Clean and tidy. Nicely presented. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and service. Staff very helpful with directions and recommendations of where to eat and what to see. Beautiful city would love to go back again for a longer trip as our time here was very short. It all its a well located, friendly, clean B&B.

I am currently staying at Phoenix B&B. The owner,Patrick, greeted me with a huge towel because as soon as I stepped out of the cab, rain started pouring and he saw me!! I was greeted in welcoming arm and towel to dry off. When I asked where to eat, he suggested a popular restaurant in Derry. On Saturday night without...

Stayed one night. Decor leaves a lot to be desired - peeling wallpaper, damp patched, paint chipped and scuffed HOWEVER that is well compensated for by the location - less than 5 minutes walk from St Columbs Cathedral and thew quality of the breakfast. I recently stayed in a "4 star" hotel and Pat's breakfast was streets ahead. Rooms at...

Pat was the friendliest and most helpful host we encountered in our three week visit to Ireland. His B&B is located a block outside the walled section of Derry. Parking is on the street but free. Rooms were small but comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and good.

My Wife and I had a double room here for one night whilst touring. The location is ideal as it is easy walking to the walled city and eating places and there is free street parking. The place is clean and comfortable. Our room had the odd arrangement of an en suite toilet/wash basin and a separate shower in an...
