Delighted to say we just came home from our 12th consecutive year here! This place is too perfect to put into words, everything you might need is taken care of before you've even thought you need it. Horsewalk is probably my favourite place in the world and it's recent facelift is absolutely amazing! It looks so incredible, like a whole... More

My family and I stayed in a delightful yet very basic cottage. It was comfortable and quaint. The Irish Sea is dramatic. The younger ones climbed the Mourne Mountain and that was the highlight of our stay.

We stayed in Heather Cottage. The three bedrooms were spacious and well appointed with bathrooms up and down stairs. The kitchen had everything you expect at home, including a washing machine and dish washer. Lounge had plenty of room and the sky TV and wifi kept all amused. The spectacular views of the Mourne Mountains and Slieve Croobe were a... More

This is the second time my family have stayed at these cottages. I have to say the standard of the accommodation is very high and they are very comfortable. We stayed at Bluebell cottage, which had a fantastic view of the Mournes! I'm sure we'll be back.

This is our 3rd visit to this cottage. We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage, which is an upside down house with lounge/diner kitchen in 1 large room upstairs and 2 bedrooms (master with ensuite shower + twin room), family bathroom and hallway downstairs. All with mod cons - central heating, fully functional kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher etc, free wifi, tea... More

We recently had the pleasure to have family & friends come over to this beautiful country to attend our daughter's wedding. I was able to book all of the Newcastle Country Cottages for this wonderful occasion! A total of 38 guests were simply "blown away" by the home away from feel, that each of the cottages offered! They were all... More

Very nice place near Newcastle and Castlewellan. Comfy rooms, very warm and cosy, big kitchen and living room. Really good location for all your Mourne activities - be it mountain biking, hiking with kids or just winding down. Cottages are close to Tesco and Newcastle so it is easy to get your groceries and / or take-away food from town.

This was our second time using these cottages as a base for a walking group weekend and we simply cannot fault the place. The cottages are so well equipped you literally need to bring nothing other than a towel. They are all beautifully decorated and maintained. Have to quote what someone else had written in our visitors book "Terry Wogan... More
