Stayed for one night while attending a function - overall the hotel is ok but is a little dated and needs some work done to it. rooms were comfortable enough but service was a little hit and miss at times.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and was here again this week. And I remember why . . . The staff! As a hotel it is fine, it is comfortable, clean, good food, warm enough, the TV , kettle and all the bits in the room work OK. Everything you would want. But what makes it is...

There were 6 of us going out for a night. We did not book a table in the bar for food but got a table quickly enough. There was a good selection on the menu. I had chicken maryland at £13.95 which was very nice. My other half had the 10oz fillet steak special which he also enjoyed. Everyone in...

I went with a group of friends to have Dinner in this Hotel. Our numbers and been agreed, and each persons' menu choice. Despite this, we experienced an indifferent welcome : None of the normal greeting from a staff member, and the cards, placed on each table, " welcomed " a Group from Croydon ( we were, in fact, from...

I'm not that old but I grew up in a time and place where if you wanted to impress a young woman then you had to both show her a nice time AND that you could get a good deal. A cheap steak dinner was just thing for this. You also had to get her safe and sound home to...

Took my daughter here for a couple of days- thought it would be really good - Room was very tidy and spacious enough. On the downside the bed was just the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been on. It is an inferior style mattress and no mater what way you lay it was uncomfortable - no air conditioning in...

I visited this hotel on the bank holiday weekend with a group of friends. The hotel is lovely - the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are standard but comfortable. The food in the bar was very good. We booked as part of a pamper package which included use of the spa and a beauty treatment worth £40....

We went to hotel for lunch as its always superb but once again too many floor staff walking about doing nothing. I asked to have our table cleaned as we had just got there and was met with a look of disgust, she went off looking for a cloth for 5 mins (but maybe it might have been a good...
