We stayed here for just one night while touring N.Ireland over a weekend. I chose this hostel for 2 reasons. Reasonable price and its location. We booked the private double bedded room in the hostel. The room overall was decent big, neither too spacious nor cramped. There was a double bed with comfortable bedding, a cupboard and small washbasin in...

My sister and I stayed here just before the bank holiday weekend. It's the perfect location and great value for money. Our room was basic but very comfortable and clean. We had access to a good kitchen and lovely light and spacious communal living area. The owner was really laid back and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

Ran by a very helpful gentleman this is a basic place but it suited our needs perfectly. It was quiet whilst we were there, but the room was large and the bathroom clean with a good shower. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Overall it feels a little dated thanks to the décor, and the mattress...

We were tired and looking for a place to sleep while most of the places were closed or either sold out. Thank God we stopped there. The owners were so kind with us, the hostel was clean and really comfortable, close to restaurants and markets. Good price. Amazing experience.

The host was very helpful in guiding us through our sight seeing. The room and the facilities were clean and comfortable. Great night sleep! It was conveniently located to restaurants and pubs and the harbor.

Don't listen to any of the negative reviews, they are just nonsense. This is the second time that we have stayed at a hostel. This time didn't disappoint, turned up on time, owner (Berkley & Holly the dog) was in the property next door. Located them quickly, given a quick tour by the owner, has EVERYTHING you will ever need,...

I stayed here for two nights and two days with my sister. We stayed in the hostel but met the owner (Berkely) and his family, all of whom are exceptionally kind people. The hostel itself was very accommodating, comfortable and clean. It is very affordable if you are just looking for a place to crash for a night. In the...

We arrived at the Castle (or Ain Caislean) after a long day of driving and touring the Giant's Causeway. The hosts were a bit anxious on our arrival and were afraid we'd be disappointed with our hostel accommodations and shared bathroom. We quickly assured them we didn't mind--I had a vague memory of booking a shared bath, and our bedroom...

The location was amazing and staff very friendly and helpful. Not sure why we didnt get an ensuite, that is what we booked. Very quiet restful atmosphere- perfect for our needs. Beds could use an update, but Im not complaining. For the price it worked for us!

Stayed here with my 4 month old son and wife. Our major issue is that the hostel/B&B/lodge are all mixed together as one big entity, so it confused my wife (a veteran of Eurpean hostels) to no end. The staff were polite, but not as engaging as other hostels or B&Bs that we stayed at in Ireland. The location, however,...
