A lovely spacious room in a modern large family home. Lovely breakfast. My only reservation is that as we were on a walking holiday, it was a bit of a trek from the accommodation into the town for an evening meal which was a chore after a long day's walking. However, that's taking nothing away from the excellent hospitality and... More

Stayed 2 nights for the armoy road races. Marcus was very welcoming. Had the twin room with ensuite which was adequate for our stay. Room clean with plenty storage. Hairdryer and iron supplied which saves having to pack any. Perfect considering we were on a motorbike. 10 minute walk to town. Breakfast had good choice and staff accommodated my husbands... More

B&B in a residential area of Ballycastle. A short walk to town or a to the harbor. Small but comfortable bedrooms. A shelf and a couple of hooks would go a long ways toward making the bathroom functional. Very convenient to Carrick-de-rede and the spectacular coast. Best breakfast in Ireland: homemade scones, fresh cheese, fruit, great coffee, and very reasonably... More

Not rated 5 stars because the room was a bit small for three of us. The family is fantastic and very helpful to give suggestions. Breakfast is nice and cooked to order. Breakfast room is spacious and with very nice view to the garden. Value for money is worth. Don't miss this b&b if you go there.

Although this B&B looked good on the website its location in amongst suburban housing with no views is not desirable. The thing that hit me immediately was the dusty smell in the room & then dusty smelling pillows to sleep on. Needlesstosay I had a restless night of sleep and ended up sleeping with my shirt covering the pillow! Marcus... More

After a 3 hour drive in the rain we arrived at Hillsea Bed and Breakfast. It had been recommended to us and had phoned ahead to check availability. Marcus took our booking without deposit, his only request, we phone him if we could not make it by 8 pm. A reasonable request. Hillsea was clean, neat and tidy with a... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Marcus showed us to our room and gave us info on restaurants in the area. Our room was clean, quiet and small. We were in a quiet neighbourhood and not too far to walk into town if you did not want to drive to a restaurant in the evening. The bed was comfortable. The room... More

By chance we came to this B&B and were so glad about it! The house is very nice looking. We just adored the staircase! So beautiful! And the view from the room to this peaceful garden .... excellent! Breakfast was perfect, and Marcus was very kind. We hope to come back again one day!

Had a lovely night stay here, friendly owners, comfortable room, modern B & B. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the warm home made scones!!! It's a little out of town, but it's only a 10-15 minute walk in, so best of both worlds really as you get a nice quiet place to relax.

We stayed at this B&B overnight. It was fine. All facilities were clean and working, with a good breakfast in the morning. Nothing more, nothing less. The rooms didn't have a lot of insulation, so noise was a but of a problem when the lady next door was unwell in the middle of the night, but otherwise it was fine.
