We were very pleasantly surprised to find that owner Collette arranged for his uncle Nigel to fetch us to all the places of interest (Dunluce Castle, Giants' Causeway, Dark Hedges) at a very reasonable price. Nigel was helpful and knowledgable and we had a really good time. He drove us in his fantastic cars. The hotel is far from the...

We hadn't made lodging arrangements, and it was already late afternoon in January, with spotty cell reception on our way North from Belfast. The first four places I could find and reach on my phone were full, but one provided the phone number to Carnately Lodge. Bert answered; he was a bit hesitant as Collete was out of town. It...

Carnately Lodge is a fantastic B&B on the outskirts of Ballycastle, perfectly positioned to explore the North coast. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was wonderful. Colette is a laugh, a teller of great tales and full of excellent suggestions for things to do and see. We felt so welcome, and will definitely visit again.

Carnately lodge is far superior than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Colette and Bert are fantastic hosts who go way beyond the normal. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. The rooms were spotless and very spacious, I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. I didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

We arrived in our classic cars to an enthusiastic welcome at Carnately Lodge. The rooms were spacious but somehow lacking in shelf and space to put things. No shelf in bathroom. Difficult to manage tea making...Easy taxi ride into town and handy little discount at excellent Central Bar. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Just short of excellent but worth the...

the place in itself is not close to the town centre at all but the lady running it is very friendly and gave us a few tips of places to go for dinner. The only downside I have to put to the place is the size of the duvet as it was too small for a double bed, I spent...

We had an amazing stay at Carnately Lodge and it is perfect for the Armoy road races or for exploring the coast. Colette and Burt were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely be back next year!
