As the title suggests. The building itself was clean but the showers were cold for the two days that we stayed during the new year. After a night out all we wanted was a warm shower but we were greeted with a flood of ice cold water.

Me and my friends were staying in a 10 bed dorm which was quite big, bigger than we expected and clean. Staff were really helpful and nice, breakfast was basic (bread, jam, butter and cereal). Bathrooms were clean but maybe not enough of them.

We had a night out in Belfast planned and a taxi home costs a fair bit so we decided to book this for a cheap 'heads down' and didn't expect much. Despite expecting a bit of a sh1t hole we were still disappointed. Shabby decor, uncomfortable beds, cold room, sockets without power, a sink with taps that produced no water...

The bathrooms were dirty. Dead bugs at the windows. Very small rooms. Free wifi. The toilets were crappy. The shower water was warm. The pillows were way too thin. Someone arranged a party in the other room and it got noisy real fast. The staff gave ous an extra pillow. It was difficult to even open the doors, the lock...

Stayed one night. Rooms could do with another power outlet but otherwise was spacious enough, clean and comfortable. The toilet was rather small but the bathroom was fine. Breakfast was basic toast, butter, jam etc but adequate.

Having recently stayed in Belfast and found it such fun I decided to return with a gang of friends. We used Paddy’s as I had stayed in their apartments previously and liked them. The hostel is standard, clean and central and cheap. You get what you pay for, decent basic facilities but not the Ritz. Overall cheap and cheerful though.

It was absolutely filthy, and nobody ever cleaned. Staff seemed like having come down from the moon (or Australia!) recently. Breakfast was in filthy dishes and cups. I promised my students to write this review on behalf of all of them--they have never seen anything like it!

Thank you for your review, but our management team must disagree and address this review. Our reception team went out of their way to help this guest with every concern. The team took every reasonable step to ensure their comfort, but they seem to have brought their hotel expectations to this budget hostel. The hostel is cleaned multiple times during...

Really central hostel and close to all the attractions and nightlife. Lots of young backpackers coming through on tours and its the cheapest in town. Great showers too..;). Laverys is a great pub down the road and head to the Kremlin for some funky fun..

We stayed at Paddy Palace Belfast for one night in a 6 bed dorm. Really good value for not much money. It was clean, the rooms were quite big and the showers a dream. No comparison to other showers in hostels I've been to. The staff was really friendly and helpful, it's close to the centre. Would definitely recommend that...
