My husband booked a surprise weekend away in Belfast and this is the hotel he chose. It's very quirky and quite luxurious. The room was a decent size as was the bathroom. We loved the novelty shampoo, soap, etc. which had quirky writing on the tubes. The breakfast was very good and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. The...

Centrally located to get to the Titanic, shops and even Ulster museum by foot. Usual Malmaison quirkiness but looked a bit tired (breakfast menus were scruffy, carpets had seen better days, window a real struggle to open/close). But bed very comfy, usual Malmaison accompaniments. For the price I was hoping for a bit more quality. Near busy roads so not...

We booked this place following The Lonely Planet guide's advice, but we were disappointed by the hotel compared to the price of the room. The style is low-lit. Some like it, some don't. It feels a bit sad, especially with the low ceilings. We had a shower in a big but cold and empty bathroom (made for disabled people, which...

Booked the Sunday Stopover in the Samson (or possibly Goliath) suite. Named after the famous Harland and Wolfe cranes in Belfast docklands. Very cheap for the one night in such a nice suite. Had a pool table in it, a giant bed, big TV, underfloor heating, roaring fire...the list goes on. Staff were even kind enough to place the bottle...

This is a stylish conversion of a Victorian warehouse centrally located near the Cathedral quarter. Our twin beds were small and uncomfortable but otherwise the room was a good size with some period features. The bar was quiet on the early evenings we visited so perhaps not Belfast's most popular venue. As a result, cocktails were good but there was...

Positioned on the edge of the city centre, 1 minute walk into main shopping area, and 5 minutes from the Cathedral Quarter. Room was spacious as was en-suite and a proper shower. Always happy to stay here when in Belfast.

Was here for a hen party, we had a private room upstairs. Cocktails were delicious and really enjoyed the cocktail making class. Loved the decor, great sized rooms, comfy bed and friendly staff. Great stay all round.

We called here to sample the Spring menu. For starters we had the Lamb Benedict which was very flavoursome. My partner had the Chicken Escalope main course and I had the grilled River Trout which was cooked to perfection and complemented perfectly by the Sauvignon Blanc. We could not manage dessert as the starters were very substantial. The service was...

Stayed for only one night when attending a concert in the nearby arena. Check-in and check-out was very smooth, with fantastic staff. Decor and atmosphere in all Malmaison hotels is fantastic. Bar staff very slow. Disappointed that cleaners cart was positioned outside my room when I arrived mid-afternoon and then again in the morning. Really spoilt the ambiance of the...
