I recently stayed at The Clayton whilst in Belfast for some work. I checked in late into the evening which wasn't a problem. The lady at reception was lovely and happy to explain the arrangements to me. The room was fantastic, clean and warm with a large comfortable bed. There was no problem with street noise at all (sometimes an...

Held our work Xmas party here. He party was excellent and the food absolutely delightful for a mass produced dinner. No complaints there (although, having paid for 15 dinners, and had one no show, they were very much NOT keen to give us the meal we had paid for? Why not? It was bought and paid for and the greedier...

Lovely big room although I had to unmake the sofa bed as two extra beds were made up on my arrival minimising the space., and access to the very few power sockets in the room. However , bathroom was spacious and clean , water hot , and I loved the fact there was a fridge, a trouser press and an...

We were regular visitors when this establishment was the Holiday Inn and at that time was our choice hotel when we regularly visited Belfast. During a recent two night stay we decided it would be our last. Food was terrible, the only decent thing was soup, everything else appeared to be taken from freezer and microwaved or deep fat fried....

This is my second time staying at Clayton Hotel Belfast in a few weeks. Both stays were top class. The first time I booked as a girls night away and our room was very spacious and plenty of room, towels and toilitries for 3 girls. This time I stayed in an executive room on the 7th floor (as a couple)...

The food was good, and also the service. My enjoyment was spoiled by the loud music, but maybe I should have expected that at Christmas. 2 of the toilets didn't flush and 2 others had dodgy doors. I seem to remember this from when the hotel was the Holiday Inn.

I liked the look of the hotel online plus it had a wellness area with a great swimming pool, I'm glad I didn't take any notice of negative reviews, in my experience they're certainly not justified. Although my wife did read the reviews and awkwardly (for me) asked to see a couple of the exec rooms before we checked in...
