Stayed here with a friend mid week and I have to say I found the experience a little disappointing. Having stayed in a number of Clayton hotels previously, this did not meet expectations. The hotel has a great city centre location close to all the shops and the trendy Belfast social scene. The hotel reception and lobby areaa are nicely...

My friend and I stayed in the Clayton for 2 nights mid week last week. I was looking forward to the mid week break and thought since it was still low season and hotels are generally quiet we would be in for a treat at the hotel. I stayed in this hotel when it was a Holiday Inn and much less expensive. I did not notice any particular upgrading of the hotel and felt it was 3-star standard at best. When we got to our room, the sofa bed was not made up. In fairness once I rang housekeeping, they were up very quickly. However, the sofa...

Thank you for your recent review and sorry to hear that we did not meet with your expectations in terms of an uncomfortable bed especially as all our beds are new and were only replaced last autumn. We will of course investigate this to ensure there is nothing untoward. and the breakfast choice. We were surprised to hear these comments...
