I have to say we stayed just one night in the hotel, but beside the room quality what i can not score down because was highly acceptable, although the room was poorly lit, nothing is quite right in "hotel". The "restaurant" which is a bar/pub and after midnight a nightclub, is really made me think how is that even possible/acceptable!...

Called in for a drink with my colleague, the bar was busy and inviting. The drinks were a little expensive but it is in the city after all. I would pop in here again as there is a big screen tv etc and plenty going on.

Had a beautiful Sunday lunch today at the really good price of 1 course 9.95 and 2 for 12.95. We had Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and it was soo good. Will definitely reccommend to others and will certainly be back soon.

I writing this while trying to find sleep but struggle as there is a live bad playing below... My mistake I guess for not realising that the place is much rather a night club with rooms instead of a hotel. The noise level in general is extremely high but I guess musst be tolerated considering this is primarily a bar/club!...

Stayed here for one night and it was dreadful. Paid for the "superior suite" which was just average. Window wouldn't close and my boyfriend badly cut his hand trying to close it. This meant room was freezing cold and noise level was ridiculous! The meal in the restaurant was okay, burgers weren't great. The breakfast was crap! The sausage taste...

This hotel needs a serious makeover with attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Our mattress was well past it's use-by, the bathroom fan wasn't working and - despite numerous requests- we could get no proper wifi connection. The flies floating in the breakfast orange juice did not make for confidence in the food. Good points are the location and the helpful...

We spend the weekend in the hotel for my hen do. Nothing was a problem: from check in, booking dinner, order taxis , free cocktail and even fixing a broken light. Dinner was lovely with good servings and cocktail amazing. Rooms in the front are loud on a Saturday night but then you expect that. Overall, really pleased!

Please be careful when staying at this hotel. The hotel charged me £100.00 for allegedly smoking in the room. Both me and my partner are non smokers. The first I was made aware of the charge was not by the hotel but by checking my bank statement. I thought the hotel had accidentally double charged me for my stay. But...

Very convenient location which was why we chose this hotel, Decore was a bit tired but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but uninspiring. Reasonable value for money given the location. Parking was awkward and expensive but within easy walking distance.

We had booked Maddison's as a last minute decision. Reception & bar staff where very friendly. Our room was just ok could do with re-decoration & deep clean. From what we gather the hotel has been sold so therefore no work has been done on it. The location of the hotel is good just across road from Botanic station.
