Stayed here as a girly night out with my best friend. I had stayed 5 years ago and had a similar experience but had high hopes of improvement. The main reason we stayed here was because the gig we were attending was right across the street. The restaurant/bar is nice, lively and the staff were pleasant enough. We had two courses...

Booked this hotel for a weekend in Belfast. Looked ok on first impressions on booking.com but on further inspection saw bad reviews of it being dirty. When we arrived the staff on reception were nice but the smashed glass window on the way in was already not a good start, when we got to our room it was very disapointing....

Our first trip to Belfast we were unsure as to where to stay but we will definitely not be back. First impressions were not good. Smashed glass window front. Arrived to the reception to a lovely helpful lady who gave us our keys to the room. Got to the room....the walls dirty and stains. Cobwebs. Filthy mesh blinds. Carpet that...

We stayed one night in Maddisons and overall the stay was fine. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The breakfast is freshly cooked which was great. The only downside was there appeared to be some fault regarding the booking, we had booked Bed & breakfast but after breakfast staff told us it was room only. I had to retrieve...

I stay at this hotel when I do not want to get a taxi home after an event in Botanic. The hotel is cheap and you definitely get what you pay for to be honest. For example, a hair on the pillow and dust everywhere (that was one experience I won't forget). But for such low sums of money, it...

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel with my boyfriend. The staff are extremely polite and accommodating. The room was quite modern and kept very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. The bar has fantastic cocktails that are so cheap! However, the breakfast that was served to us in our...

Arrived at 12am to a smell of sewers. In the bathroom there was a pool of water on the floor from a 3 ft crack in the ceiling. Ran a bath but no plug!Management response not acceptable, complaint not acknowledged correctly.

Having stayed there before and felt well looked after, we chose it again because as others have said, it's central and convenient. Having said that, the numerous poor tripadvisor reviews gave us concern. Anyway; first time we stayed the hotel staff were very good and the food was nice, but the room was tatty. This time the room was nice,...

The hotel was in a really nice part of town with lots of good bars and places to eat on the doorstep. Check in was very quick as our payment had already been taken prior to arrival. I'm still fairly sure on booking.com it said "payment on arrival" but it wasn't a big issue, we didn't arrive late. It was...
