Visiting Belfast for the first time with two friends on our way to Donegal, stayed at the Balmoral Hotel ( ten minutes from city centre) overnight, lovely rooms with excellent big fluffy bath towels. Full Irish Breakfast was excellent. Very nice bar. No lift. Free Car Parking. Very helpful staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and I haven't a bad word to say about it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us with a couple things even when we said it wasn't a worry. They rooms are clean and modern and the bar is lovely. It's not...

I really wanted to like this hotel. It is close to where I live, and it's on my travel route to work. It looks nice on the outside as well. For reasons I needed a hotel in this area so I jumped on the opportunity - blatantly ignoring all reviews. It's safe to say that I should have listened to...

Initial opinion when we walked in was reception was stuck in a corner, felt like an inconvenience, but reception staff when checking in and out were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and Carol had time for a chat and was very friendly and attentive. Room was disappointing. My wife cut her finger trying to turn the shower on. It wasn't...

Hotel is a pretty nice place to stay. Although, one of the main reasons we went to Belfast was to do one of the Black Taxi Tours (I would highly recommend it). When we arrived, the woman that checked us in refused to help us book the tour, wouldn't allow us to make an outgoing phone call on a hotel...

Arranged for soup, sandwiches and shortbread to be served to family and mourners attending funeral on bitterly cold, wet day. Absolutely chaotic experience on what naturally was a sad and stressful occasion. Tables set with soup rolls/cutlery but no soup arrived. Tea served first and most guests ate the soup rolls with the tea. Had to seek the soup and...

Easy to find and with free parking. This must be one of the most friendly hotels I have stayed at. Good bars and very reasonably priced bar food which was very tasty. The soup I wanted was unknown to me and I was given a little to taste, it was very good. There seemed always people going out of their...

This hotel serves an excellent purpose as a venue for parties. I gather that if you are a guest of the party that is going on downstairs, you don't mind all the noise. Also, the consumption of alcohol might cancel out annoyance with the smell of cigarette smoke in your room, and eveything else that is not quite right. As...

We booked the Westbury Room for a full day business meeting for 15 to 20 people. The service was OK, although the coffee was dreadful, and the food mediocre. But the worst thing was when the room next door, separated only by a screen, set up music, etc for a wedding. We couldn't hear ourselves think. Not a wise move...
