We arrive for a two night stay at this 4star hotel. The hotel is in an area of regeneration within the city so first impressions were not great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was at the back of the hotel overlooking dirty yards and walls. Not great. The room was clean and spacious but there was...

We have had many visits here over the years! Great buzzing atmosphere in this busy, modern and spacious bar with loads of patrons of all ages/couples/groups. Great drinks menu at reasonable prices. We ordered a Long Island iced tea that wasn't on the cocktails specials list which the barman (won't name in this instance) was unfortunately obviously annoyed about !!...

Nice bar wasn't far from our apartments so started the night here. It was very busy we got served fine though plenty of bar staff to keep up with the volume of people, door staff were friendly and polite music was very good and able to bop along to as no room where we were to dance .

Great food and not over priced and the beat the clock prices make a big difference to your total bill if ordered before 7pm. That means the waiter takes your order before 7pm, not if you book for 6:45pm and give your order at 7:08pm :( and the cocktails are cheap too 👍🏻

We stayed here about 6 years ago (I thought I'd done a 5* review then, but hadn't), so we were a bit nervous about returning. A family wedding at the Empire meant it was the perfect choice for our 2 night stay, so we 'risked it'. How glad were we?! We remembered how nice the rooms were - now they're...

We are just home after being in Benedicts, we go a few times a month and for the last 5 years or so have been going for a drink every birthday on a Sunday. Tonight two bouncers came over to us saying that we were far to drunk and had to leave the premises, we had our friends over from...

Both hotel and restaurant are excellent. I have stayed here a few times over the past 5 years. Prices are reasonable and the beds are so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel! Must book in advance as rooms go quite quickly

We stayed on a week night with a great deal which included dinner. The food was great. The room was large but on a busy road so at night a bit noisy from the pub outside. I would stay there again for the service and the fabulous pub inside and the food breakfast was really good every day
