My sister and I were looking forward to our stay at the hotel for her 40th birthday. Booked spa treatments prior to arriving and upgraded our room so we could have a balcony. Bad points .... Balcony wasn't worth £50 upgrade, no chairs or little table to use so it was a waste of time really. Ice bucket was mouldy.... More

We stayed at Celtic Manor on the last Sunday in November. We had a special offer, dinner in Cen and B&B, and upgraded on arrival to a signature room which was well worth it. Meal was lovely as was our room, Signature on 6th was excellent, a few minor issues (not worth mentioning) but the reason we went for 4... More

Staid here twice now and it's a fantastic hotel. The rooms are great and everything is really well thought out. I love the big bath robes and the Lee is products. From checking in through to having what can only be described as a monumental first class buffet breakfast it's all great. Only one downside is the price of drinks... More

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and on both occasions we are not disappointed with the overall experience. We had a special deal this time round with accommodation, evening meal and breakfast with spa access included which I though was extremely good value considering we are not made of money, and this was a... Just spent 3 nights at the Celtic Manor, a small treat for my wife post illness. We used the Signature rooms, check in was so easy, although the car park is some way away, the shuttle bus service is great. The room was great, everything needed is there and very very comfortable. A full size complementary bottle of wine was... More

Visited this hotel for an overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay as a birthday present for my husband. Decided to upgrade to a Signature room on the 6th floor. Check-in was seamless and fast. The bedroom had obviously been recently refurbished. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. However, the bedroom walls appeared to be paper... More

Stayed recently for one night with my partner, we had food at the Bar called Merlins, visited the cellar bar in the evening, treated ourselves to the pool and spa in the morning and had breakfast before leaving refreshed. We parked in the open customer car park and took a complimentary shuttle up to the main building to check in.... More

I recently attended a 60th Birthday at The Manor House at Celtic Manor. The idea was that the men would play golf during the day whilst the women shopped. I have no complaints about the golf where the service was excellent and made for a great day. However, the Manor House was a major disappointment. Owing to only one person... More

One night stay, meal in the olive tree and breakfast as a gift for our wedding! Parked in the open air car park and great quick shuttle up to the resort hotel. Lovely service at reception. He did mention that he knew it was our honeymoon so did expect a surprise in the room or something but nothing. Most hotels... More

If I could have rated this zero I definitely would have! Ive visited this hotel on a few occasions and although pricey was always a pleasant stay, until now that is! My family and I, 6 adults and 3 children booked our stay in APRIL 2016 for their Christmas event, the magic kingdom. After some family news we were keen... More
