Another nice stay at this hotel - the pub / restaurant on site serves lovely food too. The restaurant is being revamped from the 1st - 31st August 2016 so visitors who usually have breakfast will not be able to during that time. Nice room, clean and a great location.

Always friendly staff, location easy access to M4, room nice and clean with all amenities. Free wi-fi throughout rooms and hotel. Good value for meals, large menu. Would stay here again when visiting South wales again. Nice and quiet location, free to come and go as you please

Good location and a good price for a 2 night business stay in South Wales. Fairly quiet and that is a must when travelling on business and working late. Minor criticism was the bed was a little uncomfortable for my liking but otherwise quite a pleasant stay.

We used this Inn as a halfway stopover from a holiday in Newquay back to Lancashire as there are some fantastic Roman excavations at Caerleon not far away. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had two faulty light bulbs in our room which were replaced within 30 minutes. The bed was...

Stayed at this hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but perfectly reasonable for the price. The staff were friendly and accommodating and were able to provide help when needed. The onsite pub was excellent at providing gluten free options and were more than willing to help with other dietary requirements (including providing soya milk for breakfast)....

Stayed over for a night while working in Newport. Tidy motel style hotel next to a pub. Had a good evening meal in the pub and a decent pint. The rooms at the back of the hotel back onto fields so had a quiet night in the huge bed. My TV was playing up but they are being replaced.

If you are looking for inexpensive but clean and comfortable enough this will suit. It's basic but comfortable bed and clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast in the pub next door is plentiful and good quality traditional English breakfast.

Overall, although basic the room was good, clean, but a little dated. The corridors and reception was also basic and a little dated. In saying this I would return as the price was not too bad for what you got.

This must be the most inaptly named chain of hotels ever judging by our experience, since we had anything but a good night!!! In general, the place looked un-kept. In particular, trying to sleep on the mattress was like trying to sleep on an array of unconnected old springs which were desperately trying to escape the bounds of the mattress...
