Once again I had the opportunity to stay at Gelynis, and once again they have not failed to give excellent service in a wonderful location. Nothing is too much for Margaret and she will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need, including a lovely full breakfast with a variety of choices.

We stayed in this delightful B & B for 5 nights. I would highly recommend this B & B to any one coming to Cardiff. I loved the idea of opening the railway gates to let the car through, I have not done that for years and bought memories back of my childhood. The rooms were lovely and homey. The...

Stayed for a couple of nights and it was lovely. Very tidy, clean, comfortable rooms, scenic location and a warm, friendly host. What more could you need? Having to open the gates for the railway track was a bit of fun and added something different to our stay. Would liked to have had the opportunity to walk along the track...

Lovely B&B in a lovely location. Booked here for the Stereophonics in Cardiff as the City was full and so glad we did. We asked could we leave the car early as we wanted to get into Cardiff and enjoy the day. Margaret had our room ready so a quick un-pack, a 20 minute walk along the River to Radyr...

This was our second visit and once again we were not disappointed, took a party of friends for a private function and all were very impressed with Gelynis, and we fully intend to come again! It was so convenient for our needs and Margaret was more than helpful.

This is one of the higher standards of BnB you could find in the UK, both in accommodation and service. In fact, BnB’s are exceeding the quality of hotels these days because family run business means a personalised serviced, friendly and professional. You will get a very welcome from Margaret and, son Will. The rooms are quintessential English cottage, very...

The website says that it's surrounded with their own fruit trees - what it doesn't say is that it's also surrounded beyond that with the motorway, a dual-carriageway and a local railway, with gates that have to be opened and closed by you every time you drive in or out. The trains were frequent and seemed to require announcing itself...

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were so welcoming and the B and B was in a great location not far from Cardiff. Plenty of eating places a short drive away. The room was warm and clean and the breakfast was perfect - highly recommend! Thank you for a great weekend.

Stayed at this B&B whilst in the area for a family event. We really enjoyed our stay, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms warm and well equipped. Would really like to visit again in the better weather so we can explore the area. Thanks to the owners for making us so welcome.

Got tickets to the Canadian Ireland World Cup rugby match...not so easy to find accommodation in Cardiff! Ended up an 11pound taxi ride out...and we happily paid it to stay in this B&B! It was very comfortable, clean, beautiful country side, and Margaret was a lovely hostess who made us a full English breakfast every morning! Highly recommend this place...
