We were visiting Cardiff for the rugby world cup and boy oh boy were we all being exploited when it came to accomodation. Under normal circumstances I am sure the price for the guest house would reflect it's value, but unfortunately it was definitely not worth the price we were forced to pay! The curtains were not fit for purpose...

I always stay here when I visit family in Cardiff :-) Opposite bus stops so makes it super easy to get back and fore town. Beds are comfortable and rooms are always kept clean. Staff are friendly & helpful too. Only criticism a couple of rooms I have been in the past the showers have been lethal, either freezing cold...

The positive points are that the room was very clean, beds comfortable and the guesthouse has adeqate free parking. As you are given a key to the front door as well as your room, you are free to come and go. I was mostly unaware of other guests. However, we had no access to Wi-fi, towels were clean but thin...

Clean and comfortable guest house. The bathroom and room were spotlessly clean. The main road outside is busy but it didn't disturb us. We stayed during 6 Nations rugby weekend. Free secure parking available to the rear of the property. Friendly staff. Would stay again. Easy to find, a short bus ride into the City Centre.

Stayed here just for a night..small little room with and attach bathroom. Neat and clean. Wifi parking and heating facility available. Located on ones the main streets in Cardiff and has a bus stop right as u step out of the hotel. Basic rooms can't expect more for 50 quid anyways.

Rooms are ok and the Guest House is satisfactory as a crash pad for a night in Cardiff. I pre-paid and was delayed on the motorway. When I paid I was assured I would get the number of the night porter (starts at 8pm) to let me in). This didn't happen and when I arrived I could not contact the...

We have been here with two friends for Easter. We took a three bed room and it was spacious and clean. The service is good and the hotel is just a short bus ride from the city centre. We were really satisfied!

Stayed for 3 nights for a wedding in Cardiff. The guesthouse is in a great location with a free car park round the back, and only a 10-15min walk to the town centre. The rooms was nice and clean, and although on a busy road the room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. You cant get much...

We booked this at the last minute and expected very little - we were very pleased with the price, location and stay. It's a simple guest house, clean, tidy and large rooms. We stayed on the bottom floor and were worried of noise - no problem. Simple and nice decor, clean and tidy and nice decor. Little, clean and tidy...

Stayed at the Avala, visiting our son at University. Good location, clean town house, reasonably priced. Offer good continental breakfast. Parking at rear, off the main road. No frills, but were quite happy there.
