Lovely boutique hotel, which is deceptively large, bedroom is cute, perfect for a rugby weekend, nice outside area, & had cooked breakfast one morning, which was yummy! Only issue I had was with the bathroom sink, not fit for purpose, wash hand basin too far away from the tap, however only a minor issue! Staff we're lovely also, very helpful!

We were so lucky to come across Jolyon's and booked out today actually wishing our stay could be longer. My husband and I stayed in the Aylesbury which was an open plan suite with kitchen area with toaster coffee machine and kettle, a fridge with bottle water in it alongside the usual tea coffee etc. The seating area had 2...

My family and I (husband & 2 adult sons) stayed here for a long weekend as we were meeting family for a birthday celebration. We had a long journey from Aberdeen and upon arrival were greeted by the most loveliest lady who couldn't do enough for us. The staff at this hotel were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble....

First of all be careful which Hotel you book we thought it was the one by Bay. Once you don't make that mistake it's by Sofia Gardens. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Parking is tight had to reverse out no room to turn. Once inside staff are really helpful and show you around the hotel. we were on third...

Stayed at Jolyon's last week on rugby day and have to say that the stay was lovely. From the moment we arrived the staff made us very welcome. the rate for the rugby day was fabulous and the Aylesbury suite was really good, spacious and a pleasure to stay in. Morning breakfast was great and overall I would recommend this...

Very useful base for visiting Cardiff. Our quiet en-suite bedroom overlooked the park at the rear of the hotel, away from traffic on Cathedral Road. Cosy room with repro Louis XIV furniture and comfy bed. Bath had colour therapy light but we showered - sending water onto the floor as the screen is too small. Bottled water and shortcake biscuits...

This is a small but stylish boutique hotel in a great location. The rooms, we had a suite, were large and comfortable. No noise, tea and coffee etc etc. Our only problem was with the room lighting - without the table lamps and no light above the mirrors it was a bit dull and not great in either room or...

Great Boutique hotel in a brilliant location. The service was impeccable from start to finish, the massive room overlooked Sophia Gardens and was of a superb standard. We ate in the restaurant and found the food excellent. Only a minor observation, parking spaces at the hotel are limited, but plenty of spaces available in Sophia Gardens.

I've been staying at Jolyons for the past 3 years as it has a very convenient location, 5 mins walk to Cardiff Castle. On my arrival a very nice and helpful girl called Milen informed me that the place is under new management, something that you can see straight away. The old and shabby bar is gone, alongside with the...

We came down to see an opera. We had a suite on floor 4 which was very spacious. A very comfortable bed. Lovely little extras such as a toaster, a fridge, crockery and proper wine glasses. Complimentary bottled water. Nice toiletries in the bathroom but which was a bit restricted space wise - The shower was amazing and there was...
