Easy to get to. Away from city traffic, easy to get to motorway. Rooms good. TV, coffee/tea all there. Free parking. Toby pub on site if need. Tesco garage opposite with food etc supplies. Best of all the reception staff were lovely.

We were moved to the Whichurch Travelodge due to issues at a different hotel we had booked for the rugby international weekend. Whilst the hotel may not look the most glamorous, we found the staff were fantastic. The lady on reception (apologies we did not get your name) on Sunday late morning, was so efficient and helpful, as soon as our rooms were ready she informed us. The superior rooms were very clean and had all the basics a long with a coffee machine. The housekeeper Johanna did a great job, we could not fault her attention to detail. Thank you for a great stay, shame about the rugby result!

Room and bathroom were spotless as was the rest of the hotel with quality linen and towells. We stayed in a twin room and both beds were comfy with plenty of space Water pressure was low in shower but hotel was full Very good value for money including free parking The staff were all really helpful and kind.

Had a very pleasant stay here. We got there quite late after a 6 and a half hour drive so the bed was very welcomed however a bit hard and the pillows weren't great but the room was clean enough. The thing that made the stay great was the service I received from the staff. One member of staff stood out most to me was Jodie. We'd been at a family funeral on the Thursday morning and afterwards we came back and had some food at the Toby carvery next door. I went and asked her if she could help me get a taxi to meet up with extended family, you know the family that you only ever see when it's a funeral or wedding, so it was important to us to go and see them. My brain was a bit fuzzy after such a harrowing day and I couldn't work out the phone that they have connected to their desk especially for ringing a taxi. There was absolutely no judgement from her when I was struggling with it and she was straight there to help me. She went above and beyond to ensure that we got to our destination to meet up with other family and she was a pleasure to speak to. Very happy and positive attitude and if she lived 300 miles further north, I'd employ her in a heartbeat. Jodie if you get to read this, then thank you so much for everything and for being the sunshine on what would have been a very grey day for us. 😁

Clean rooms but the shower needs updated, lovely staff especially Tara on reception she could not do enough for you, very helpful and always a smile to welcome you. The Toby inn next to the travel lodge is quite poor, needs a good clean also there’s no real ale as it shows in the pictures.

This Travelodge uses Single Beds Disguised as kingsize We Paid for Kingsize beds but received 2 single beds disguised as Kingsize resulting in a very uncomfortable nights sleep, Both my wife and myself woke up with backache. When we asked to change rooms we were told they only had single beds. Although the staff were nice I will not be returning to this hotel

As the heading says. This is not the best. Staff lovely moving around is the worst of all the travelodges I have been in for the past 20ish years. The car park is a mud pit. Be prepared for mud or rotted leaves as soon as you leave your vehicle, which is not ideal for a wheelchair user.

Years since I’ve used Travelodge, far better standards than in the past and exceeded my expectations. Extremely clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfy, the carpets plush and spotless. Parking very close and an easy and friendly welcome on check-in.
