Needed accommodation for two nights for a family bereavement in the area. Centrally located in Brecon town centre, with supermarket next door. Private Parking as well. Separate entrance for residents access 24 hours if needed. Free wifi which worked really well in the room (no.6) which is on the top floor. Old building, some steep stairs to climb, I did...

Nice welcome and easy check-in. Evening meal was tasty and good value for money. Bed was nice and clean. However from here onwards it wasn't so good. I waited at the bar for over five minutes before being served, the young barman walked past me twice (there was only a half-a-dozen other customers in the pub) and he was more...

Always a welcome from Manager and bar staff. Food is excellent value, well presented, well cooked and very reasonable. Steaks are from local butchers and always excellent. separate dining room so you can have meal in a quiet room away from bar. plenty of room for children and disabled access is excellent. Only ever visit for food so cant compare...

Wow what a place. Atmosphere a little odd but the food and service more than made up for it. Two of us ate two courses each for less than £15 total. The Lite menu is perfect for a lunch stop, just enough to fill you up but not so much that you feel uncomfortable. My friend had soup which said...

Ok, emergency family trip and have a dog. Limits the options where to stay. Some reports not too good. Value for money, yes £65 a night en-suite and £10 for the dog (fair price). Downside: carpets need replacing, needs tidying up here and there. Upside: Friendly staff (Josh Manager was great). Beds comfortable (we had Room 8 twin) with double...

Room was ok but no sink, the shared bathroom was grubby, some basic cleaning wouldn't go amiss. The food in the pub is cheap but also poor, not sure if they thought they were feeding pigeons, all round a very poor experience

Hi, Many thanks for your review. I am extremely disappointed to hear that you didn't have a good experience here. I have looked into your booking further and identified the room you stayed in. You are correct unfortunately this specific room does not have a sink in it. We do have one share bathroom that does or alternatively we do...

The hotel is close to a big Asda / Major bus interchange in Brecon. They are both less than one minute walk away. The room was clean an simple I went for a quiet trip on my own and this place was ideal for that

I would just like to start by thanking you for fitting myself and a group of friends in (a group of 10 people altogether), for an evening meal, at very short notice after being let down by the Wellington Hotel! We were all served promptly and couldn't ask for better service! The food was lovely and very cheap, my two...

Me and my two kids stayed here Monday night as our central heating and boiler system was being replaced at home! I initially booked here because the price was the best in comparison to others in the area! We had a triple room and first impressions were good! Two beds in one side and one in the other room with...
