Had a two night visit to the Royal Victoria as we were walking Snowden. A comfortable hotel with a restaurant and also a bar serving food. Very nice breakfast including a full cooked breakfast along with pastries, cereals and fruit on offer. Would stay again.

We visited Llanberis for Easter break and had booked a trip with the Snowdon train in the morning. It was a perfect starting place for the train trip. We could leave the car in the hotel car park and it was only 100m to walk down to the train station. The surroundings of the hotel is fantastic, and the service...

I spent the night here after walking Snowdon. The room was quiet, the breakfast was good, so I have no complaints really. The interior and the service could probably have been better, but you get what you pay for.

My partner and I stayed at the Royal Victoria. Ideally located for climbing Snowdon which we did. Check in was efficient though we were disappointed by our room. It was very small, the corridor had a not so nice, linger smell. The shower wasn't great and we had to run it for about 10 minutes before getting any hot water....

Decided on the Royal Vic as a base for mountain climbing and kite surfing. The location is what sold the hotel for us. The location is amazing but the place is in need of a facelift. There was work being done whilst we stayed so this may be being addressed, but the floorboards are comical. They were so noisy we...

Stayed for just one night. Wanted to climb Snowdon and the hotel is perfectly located for this. Check in was quick and efficient. Double room was basic, but clean. We did have a leak in the bathroom. Room furnishing very tired. Certainly not like the modern pictures on the website. Tea and coffee facilities and TV though, but could do...

Lovely location, friendly staff but with a few problems. The rooms were superficially clean, but quite grubby on closer examination. Restaurant was very expensive for what food we had - much more value eating in the bar downstairs, but in there, the tables were grimy and sticky. The noise from nearby rooms was really loud at night...could hear people using...

Lovely hotel, nice & clean with good bar food & breakfast but we wouldn't recommend the more expensive restaurant Brasserie menu as we were very disappointed with the quality. Very good position for the Snowden footpaths though & the staff were very friendly & helpful.

Ideal located hotel if planning a walk up snowdon. Clean & friendly staff but if providing constructive criticism it does need a face lift & modernising. Felt room was very basic & mini fridge would have been handy for your water ect. That said I would still stay again.
