It is a very nice homey place to stay, however the radiator is not strong enough to heat up the room. I am a cold person, so didn't enjoy it as much as I would like to. Bathroom is build inside the bedroom, so is really small (you can't dry yourself in there) and of course noisy in case you...

Hello Lucia, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are pleased that you felt our guesthouse was homely and clean, but we are sorry to hear that you felt cold in your room. Upon investigation, we found that the radiator in your room wasn't working correctly and needed bleeding - it is now working fine (Thank you...

The Ferns is right on the high street so very convenient location. The hosts were very welcoming and rooms very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Parking was available, but could be awkward if more then two cars there as a steep driveway. You can also park on the road outside if spaces.

Sarah was very nice and helpful. We were the guests from hell; we arrived late, left late, one of us was ill, we were large, noisy and muddy and The Ferns was super throughout.
