The primary reason to opt for a b and b, is obviously the "bed and the breakfast". I was well satisfied with both. The bonus at a good b/b, is an attentive owner like Sarah. She helped me plan my activities, and deftly oriented me to the house, and my specific room. My only, small, complaint is the noise from...

Hello Nuttman, Thank you for taking the time to write us this review. We are most happy that both "B"s met your requirements...and that we looked after your needs during your stay. Sorry that you may have been disturbed by other guests during your stay though, we did have quite a large group in that weekend. We hope you can...

We went as a large family trip to snowden- honestly Sarah and Mark where the most accommodating hosts and made us feel right at home! From booking to arrival to organising day trips they were great! Lovely decorated bedrooms, soo clean and good location... only downside is rooms were on the smaller side but fine for a weekend away :)

From the lovely friendly welcome, the standard of the room, the cleanliness overall, to the excellent breakfast (the choice of food worthy of a much larger and 5* establishment), I cannot rate this guest house more highly. Centrally located, great views, good sized room, comfy bed, spotless perfectly functional en-suite bathroom. Sarah and Mark work really hard and provide a...

We had a double with a single bed on the top floor, nice ensuite, good power shower, good bed and lovely view out the back. Nice cooked breakfast to order, just a little early. Excellent, friendly, polite and helpful host. Great location for village and heading to Mt Snowdon (we finally made it to the top!). Cupboard with running water...

Have been visiting The Ferns for a number of years but current owners Sarah & Mark Jones have taken this guest house to a whole new level. With fresh decor and beautifully appointed guest rooms, private off road parking, a great welcome and of course the fantastic breakfast there is no need to look any further if you're planning to...

We stayed here in early August as a base to walk up Snowdon for my dads 70th birthday celebration/challenge. The B&B and both Sarah and Mark were great, the place was modern & spotless and the breakfast was very tasty. Wouldn't hesitate to recommended or use again.

Hello Jeremy, It was lovely hosting your family's stay to celebrate your Dad's 70th birthday with a hike up Snowdon. It certainly was a challenge as we recall with you all experiencing nearly all weathers from sun to storm during your hike. You certainly won't forget the day! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope...

We received a warm welcome of Sarah in The Ferns. She was very keen on helping you out regarding walks, dinners etc. The room was small but really functional. The bed was not really comfy but when we told Sarah she was willing to change that immediately for future guests. The breakfast is really great with fesh fruit, yoghurts and...
