The hotel's in a great, quiet location on the edge of Betws-y-Coed and only a five minute walk to town. The room was large, bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The bathroom had seen better days, but was fine. The staff were very friendly. But, the food. Specifically the breakfast. It was rather dreadful. I...

The hotel's location is fantastic and the building itself is really pretty. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, spacious and had a balcony. However, we felt that our room was not worth the money we paid - this is definitely not a boutique hotel. The decor is tired and dated and although we didn't eat in...

Beautiful riverside hotel in betws. The restaurant commands some beautiful views. Nice seating with a deck outside to make the most of the weather. Buffet lunch was nice but would rather have tried the all day tapas. Next time.

Our recent two night break here could not have been made any better. There was a warm welcome on arrival and the room was fabulous with a large balcony overlooking the river. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent and there was nothing more relaxing than sitting in the lounge with the log fire crackling away....

Stayed two nights as a couple. Room furnished well, bed comfortable once I'd worked out how to deal with the mattress joining "mechanism". Nice balcony overlooking the river. Very quiet and peaceful. Only planned on eating in the hotel restaurant on the first night but we enjoyed our meals so much we didn't bother going anywhere on our second evening....

What a wonderful hotel, offering personal service, luxurious accommodation and such beautiful surroundings. The receptionist on duty to greet us made us feel valued and welcome. We will most certainly return to this professionally run hotel. Highly recommended.

Just returned from my third visit this year. This time my wife was well enough to travel. Despite us both having mobility problems the staff were amazing in helping in every way possible. Paul the chef came up with some great special meals and there was always a member of staff available to help load and unload our mobility scooter....

We booked two nights at the hotel for a wedding anniversary treat, based on the reviews we had read. It certainly did not come up to our expectations at all. Everything seemed to be modelled on a 1980s service station - the breakfast was so cheap and nasty that we were glad that we had not booked to dine and...

Craig y Dderwen hotel is a comfortable country house hotel in a beautiful riverside setting about 10 minutes walk from the village. What made our stay particularly enjoyable was the warm and friendly welcome from every member of staff. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was prepared and served to a very high standard. They accommodated...
