This is a pub......remember that..... We stayed in the area for 3 nights and drank and are here twice. We arrives at about 8.00 in the evening, bar crowded and lively. Took some time to get served, ordered drinks and food. Plenty of choice on the menu and a good choice of ales. I chose the Snowdonian Ale, lovely pint....

We booked here last minute on Easter Monday. We had room 7, a spacious family room, lovely, warm and spotlessly clean. The restaurant was very busy, but they made extra room for us and the service was fantastic. Food absolutely faultless, beer brilliant and breakfast was gorgeous, just what we needed for the journey home. Highly recommend and we will...

If you are looking for a dog friendly but basic hotel in a good location for exploring Snowdonia this is not a bad choice. Our room was adequate but small with a very small ensuite. The hotel looks quite tired and worn but the location made up for this. There is no parking, even for dropping off bags (double yellow...

The Pont-y-Pair was a lovely place to stay. The staff couldnt be any more friendly and the location was fantastic. We had a family room with a double bed and a single bed. Even though the room was quite old fashioned and out dated, it was still very clean and comfortable. Having the bar downstairs with access to the beer...

Went for meal as other "first" choice pub was fully booked but, oh what serendipity! Food fantastic! Real food, really flavoursome. Pork and leek sausages in onion gravy superb, chips with real burger, exquisite! Pudding!! You will not find a better bread and butter pudding! The brownie is brilliant as well! Top that with really friendly staff and you have...

Great find - really nice food and a nice bar. Staff couldn't be more helpful - owners took over a couple of years ago, and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean and comfortable - could do with a bit of tlc, but overall really nice place

Stayed for 2 nights last week. very welcoming on arrival. Rooms were great for the money, and the view out the window over the river is stunning. Evening menu is good choice, considering out of season and the food was well cooked and very tasty. I would say this is the perfect base for Snowdonia and the rest of North...

Couldn't recommend enough. Just returned after climbing Snowdon. Took our Labrador and they were brilliant with him. We couldn't eat in the main restaurant part with the dog but they set us breakfast up in the bar area. Dinner and breakfast was lovely! It does say parking but doesn't really have any, car park over the bridge opposite for 3.50...
