Just spent three nights at Gorphwysfa and found it to be a lovely little place. Very clean and comfortable with lots of character. A huge breakfast which sets you up for a day's walking. The fruit compote was so refreshing, followed by a full breakfast, piping hot and well cooked. Did not have room for the barra brith! Very convenient...

Breakfast was beyond belief, fresh local produce perfectly cooked with scrambled eggs to die for. A peaceful haven with delightful guests, and the opportunity to put the world to rights with the inimitable Colin holding the floor. This place is...

We stayed there for three nights. Bed was comfy, breakfast was excellent, with 4 courses and set us up for each day. Colin was effusive and very knowledgeable about most local things including the weather1 We would definitely stay again.

Thank you for your kind review, we always try to please our guests whenever possible, with regard to your room Tip on room2 being bijou, before booking we do make this clear in our discription of that room and also charge a lower night rate for same. It was a pleasure to serve you and look-forward to meeting you again.

They have always let me park my motorcycle in their garage, rather than on the street, though I think Betws is very safe. It is about a...
