We've been visiting the Saracen's Head once a year or so - they are dog friendly, have a great atmosphere and the staff are lovely. We visited them last week for lunch and had a very good time. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in September. Room was light and clean, no fridge and TV reception poor. Service was good in the evening (although we did just have drinks as the food looked amazing but very pricey!). The only real criticism was the breakfast service. The day we got up early to climb Snowdon we waited...

We visited Beddgelert to have dinner on 31/08/16 and after comparing the prices and menus of the neighbouring establishments, decided on the Saracens Head. A great decision. Staff were very polite and efficient, service was first class, food was excellent (I had the sea bass) and Veltins on draft!! Dog and children friendly restaurant that had a great atmosphere. Reasonably...

Came to celebrate a birthday and was very impressed with the food. Waitresses were so polite and lovely, couldn't fault them. Had the duck - cooked perfectly, and the cheesecake - huge! Will definitely be back

Pulled up for a meal as I was staying nearby and was incredibly impressed with the quality of the food served as well as the friendliness of the staff. My friend is a vegetarian and he said that the vegetarian burger he had was one of the best he had ever had! My sea bass was cooked to perfection. Happy...

Bedroom and Bathroom was surprisingly modern. Bathroom would benefit from better lighting and mirror. Shower only no bath in our room. If you choose to eat at a different establishment then it becomes difficult to get a seat in the bar area as the table are reserved for diners and you have to go into the 'not so welcoming' other...

We called in for a meal in the Saracens Head as we were camping just up the road. We had a warm welcome, there was a good range of drinks, and the menu was excellent. Service wasn’t bad either. Free Wifi so our teenage kids were happy as there is very little mobile phone signal let along 3G and they...

Robinson's have come a long long way from their run-down/unkempt pubs. Entrance and dining areas are welcoming and the renovations of recent years are still 'fresh'. Nicely modernised bedrooms (at least ours was), with very comfortable bed and good en-suite. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good, and staff were very friendly/helpful (but not OTT) on a very busy...
