This hotel is beautifully located in a quiet country spot with fabulous views and it is only a short walk into Beddgelert, which itself is a small beautiful village at the confluence of two rivers. The walk from the hotel down the Aberglaslyn pass is just stunning. It is near to Snowdon, a copper mine and a range of other...

On arrival not the friendly welcome we was expecting, only a reprimand for not booking the double superior room correctly, eg for 2 people, told we would have to pay an extra £20. In the evening we found Kevin the barman less than friendly when ordering drinks, we did not feel welcome at all. In contrast Reni & Csilla were...

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Kevin, who, together with his staff, conveyed our luggage from the car to our room. It was a delightful room overlooking the mountainous scenery and part of the village of Beddgelert. The hotel itself is set in a superb, almost magical position. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal cooked and superbly presented...

Excellent stay yet again, great food and very comfortable accommodation. Thoroughly recommended. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being too quick to move you on to the next course in the restaurant

Our second visit to this lovely hotel this year - this time for four nights. The food is excellent, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff are welcoming and polite, and the other guests are very friendly. Just the place for true relaxation - highly recommended.

We spent 4 nights here in a de luxe room. The room was very well planned and the bed really comfortable. The hotel has a large comfortable lounge but it was almost too quiet! Perhaps it was just the guests who were there at the time but most seemed not to want to talk to any others. We had 2...

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as good as before. The staff were helpful and friendly. Fortunately the weather was good. We visited Bodnant Garden again and another day took the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway to Caernarfon. If we want another break in the area we shall certainly want to come here.

We've been going to this hotel for the last 14 years, to say that this is the highlight of my year with my wife and our border collie is an understatement. It always falls around our wedding anniversary, and of course the schools have gone back. So nice and relaxing and obviously dog friendly. The main reason for our annual...

This is without doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in for some considerable time. Attention is paid to the minutest detail and almost without exception, every whim or gripe is met before you even know you have it. Rooms are impeccably maintained and very nicely decorated. There are a few "rules" which have to be explained before...
