A very enjoyable evening. The food was well cooked and the service was professional and friendly. The hotel has a path leading down to the canal and wonderful views of the mountains. Could not be better.

This is a hotel with great potential. It only needs better organization. The staff was always willing to help. The meals were very well done. One day our room clean up was skipped and twine the fizzy drinks from the bar were flat. Superior hotels keep up with the details. Bryn Howel did not. The grounds and building are marvelous.

The hotel itself was beautiful & scenery was stunning...however we attended a wedding, our room was so small & needed updating, we had a small portable tv with no remote, no information in the room as to breakfast times, checkout etc, the room was clean but lots of cobwebs. The staff could do with smiling throughout the hotel, it lacked...

our first visit to this area, and a really good night's stay. Lovely building and setting. The room was a suite with a well appointed lounge and separate bedroom, with a modern bathroom. The meals were all excellent quality and the staff knowledgeable and friendly.

We have stayed at Bryn Howel on three occasions and have always enjoyed our stay there. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and on one of these occasions knowing it was a special occasion changed our room to one with a superb view across the garden, taking in the canal and the wonderful hills beyond. We have also stayed...

Enjoyed my stay here. Absolutely lovely setting. right on the canal with fabulous mountain views, even skygliders. Good food, especially the breakfast. Staff a little dozy but very nice.Added bonus was the Morgan car show was on that weekend and a lot of the people attending stayed at the hotel, so we had our own private car show!

We went back to the Bryn Howel after a long absence. It remains the best location for any hotel in the area and the views from the dining room and the front facing rooms must be the best in Wales. We have travelled the world and never witnessed a sunset like the one we saw over Castell Dinas Bran last...

A nice hotel to arrive at, with friendly staff and and old fashioned feel. There is ample parking and it has a tremendous position right by the canal, half way between Llangollen and the Pontycsyclle Aqueduct - which they do not make best use of! The opportunity to make a super venue by the canal (bar/restaurant/cafe) is being wasted -...

We stayed at the Bryn Howell Hotel for two nights as part of a group of around 35 or so. Our room was in need of a complete makeover with badly scratched furniture, a portable tv that would only switch on and off from the socket on the wall and with no remote and limited channels. There was no telephone...
