Lovely people and great breakfasts. I'm proud to be unsophisticated myself so this suits me well. I'm not into animals and birds myself, but if you are they are an added attraction.

Walking weekend with friends in May. Terrific breakfast and very helpful. The parrots could do with their volume turning down.

A friend and I stayed at The Guest House for a walking weekend, we had to leave very early (6am) one morning but Jenny and Kevin were very helpful - allowing us to help ourselves to cereal, milk etc. before anyone else was up. They were also happy to chill our evening wine for us and were generally very accomodating....

Perfect location for 10 bikers starting a weekend jaunt around Wales! Secure parking for the bikes, very welcoming owners and a good hearty breakfast to set you up for the day. Jenny knows us well now as this is the 3rd of 4th stay here. Extremely good value for money and always a great laugh at breakfast (top tip ......

When one hears about the outdoor menagerie at The Guest House, the indoor parrots, and the friendly cats that come and go, one might imagine that a stay at The Guest House would involve a certain amount of clamor and hubbub, but nothing could be further from the truth. Jenny and Kevin are consummate professionals, they know what is required...

We wished that we could have stayed longer and this great bed and breakfast. The breakfast is superb and Jenny and Kevin are brilliant hosts. You will also be entertained by the parrots and the chickens and ducks in the back garden. Lovely mountain views and within easy walking distance of the town centre too.

The welcome at The Guest House is warm and friendly. Situated in a quiet side street the town centre is just a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast is simply the best!! My room (Blorenge) had a great view that included all the various breeds of poultry in the back yard. I would highly recommend this B and B to anyone...
