We stayed here at a difficult time. We were made very welcome and the place felt so much like home that leaving was really hard. For more normal B&B purposes, the location is lovely, a dairy farm with lovely countryside around. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and chairs. It's a lovely home you are staying...

We have just returned from an 8 week trip around UK & Ireland using 41 different B&Bs and found Hardwick Farm an excellent place to stay. Upon arrival at this working dairy farm we received a warm welcome and were given the choice of room 1 or 2. We decided on room 1 which was very spacious and spotlessly clean....

This is a beautiful farm house on a working dairy farm. I received a very warm welcome which continued in kind and solicitous hospitality for the remain of my two night stay. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious..with warm toast! My room was huge, with an enormous, very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom..best shower I've had! There was a TV...

We recently stayed here for just the one night as we were eating at the Walnut Tree and noticed that this was rated the best B&B in the area. The farmhouse is just lovely and we can see why Carol has won an award for being a friendly host. She arranged for us to have some cake and coffee on...

This does what it says.... it's a farmhouse. The couple who run it are lovely, couldn't be nicer. It's spotlessly clean and I slept like a log. However, it is basic, hence the low price. Don't come here expecting morning newspapers and cotton buds in the bathroom. However, if all you want is a good sleep and a good breakfast,...

I am just back from a weekend at Hardwick Farm. I was in a group of six walkers. From arrival, sponge cake and tea, to our departure a couple of days later, we were looked after so caringly. I was particularly impressed how Carole remembered all of our names...well...along with the yummy breakfasts, clean and cosy accommodation and to top...

Carol and her family could not have been more welcoming. A relaxed atmosphere - very unlike many b& bs where you feel awkward about sharing someone else's space, Hardwick Farm and all its inhabitants- 4 and 2-legged accepted us into their world with great generosity. Being able to sit in bed and see buzzards circling over the meadow below our...

Stayed here to visit a friends wedding, and was a lovely B&B. The friendliest landlady award on the wall is certainly deserved! Breakfast was tremendous and the bed incredibly comfy. We both agree that we can't wait to visit again and see this wonderful part of South Wales!is era only

We had such a lovely friendly welcome from Carol and canine friends. We had a gorgeous bedroom overlooking the working part of the farm, there was lots to see plus we were woken up with bright sunshine and went to bed with the moon! We chose a brilliant week. Carol had lots of ideas for interesting things we could do...
