We stayed in room number 9 - we didn't have the dogs with us this time, but I will definitely go back and stay again and take them with me. The room was very nice - large en suite bathroom, comfy beds, and very pretty clean and modern decor. The veggie Welsh breakfast was so nice we went back for...

We stayed at the King's Arms for 4 nights and have just returned home. I stay in hotels usually for about six months of the year as I work away. This was without doubt the most lovely and friendly stay I have ever experienced. The whole pub/restaurant/hotel feels like a family run affair, every member of staff that we met...

The food was reasonable but only wish it could have been better especially for the price. The surroundings though are superb and in a beautiful part of Wales. There is so much to do in the area, just probably not at the King's arms.

Top room, could live in it (2) food good breakfast very good. Lots of history about this hotel and worth reading the bumph in the rooms. Near to center just a few yards. Park over the road for a few quid.

To round off a long day's drive, we had a room booked at the Kings Arms. On arrival, we stepped back in time into a suite; a long room, with exposed beams, niches, a bathing, seating and sleeping area, at the top of the building. Beautiful. Clean. Comfy. The accommodation was so nice, that after a scout around Abergavenny -...

We had a few days in Wales recently and travelled around booking each night as we decided where to stay. Drove into Abergavenny and after a stroll around the little town we wandered into the Kings Arms to see if they had a room for the night. They did, it was an attic room and not large but extremely clean,...

When visiting Abergavenny a meal here is a must. We booked a table for an evening meal. The staff are lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Our food was amazing, plenty to eat. Price per head is very good.

I booked the 4 poster room for our wedding anniversary, slightly wary of other reviews about noise but most stated it finished by 7pm. Not true. On arrival there was very loud live music in the bar area & a considerable number of revellers; the Receptionist told me she thought it was going on to 11pm?! We checked into our...

Stopped at Kings Arms in Abergavenny on the way up to Welshpool. Lunch very reasonably priced. Good choice of food, comfortable surroundings and polite service. This is our second visit and it did not disappoint.

This was our second visit to the restaurant. The first time was on Mothers Day and both the food and the service were excellent. We returned last Sunday for lunch and were served by 2 different waitresses. The one who served us predominantly was the rudest waitress I've ever met. She slammed things down on the table, banged furniture around...
