Stopped by for Sunday Lunch, lucky to get a table as the restaurant was busy, very efficient service and the traditional Sunday roast was amazing and a huge serving, couldn't manage a dessert......and an incredibly reasonable price, amazing good value.

Stayed in a ground floor room. Had a massive bathroom and also cooking facilities and full size fridge. Bedroom was fantastic 👍 You couldn't ask for more. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again 😁Central location , You can park up and not bother with the car...More

We visited this pub on our way to see the castle, what a great place! True medieval vibe and pub with traditional fittings. Great range of local and craft beers and delicious fresh food (the mussells were divine!). Looking forward to going back!
