I stayed here earlier in the year and this time the price had more than DOUBLED. The tv remote did not work and there was no wifi connection so my early night was a bit boring (and no view). Quirky room but bed comfortable and room warm. Dust everywhere suggesting that it hadn't been used in a while or cleaners...

Despite a detailed phone call and follow up email (with reassurances from hotel staff) no gluten free breakfast had been arranged for my partner. We were made to feel very uncomfortable about insisting and met with 'Well what do you want for breakfast? isn't toast enough?' - even that had to be shipped in from elsewhere! The room was desperately...

I'm probably too tolerant and rarely leave a bad review, but I hate being ripped off so here we go...!!! This is a tired old seaside guest house, not a hotel by any definition I know. Actually it feels like an indifferent hostel. We arrived early (apparently) and were told so. We'd been on the road for a couple of...

Please do not stay here. No one around when we arrived at 10.15pm. No signal, so couldn't call anyone. Driven for 5 hours. Eventually got signal and called owner. He turned up and said only one of our two rooms was available and split the family into two hotels. My teenage children stayed at the Queensbridge. Dirty public areas. Dirty...

This is more of a guest house than hotel. A few things we weren't happy with: 1. When booking I asked for car parking - its pot luck on the street. 2. It is supposed to have a lift - important when travelling with an elderly person - not working although the receptionist did move us to a ground floor...

Friendly staff at reception and the room was clean and comfy beds. Nice clean shower room although water pressure a bit feeble. Parking available on road, but don't expect it to be readily available during the day time as its nabbed by shoppers. Brekkie OK although nothing special. Bar/lounge closed when we got back at night and turned into a...

My partner and I had been at show in Telford and decided at the last minute on way home we would try and find accommodation in Aberystwyth. We went to this hotel first and was told all rooms taken we then proceeded to walk the promenade to hopefully find accommodation. We were not successful in a few but we were...

We stayed for two nights, room number 17, right at the top, it's a good room with a great sea view, however the lift wasn't working, and it was an exhausting trek up the 53 stairs (my husband counted them!) - the lady on reception is very nice and the breakfasts are very good, so all in all enjoyed our...

Stayed for 3 nights. Money was taken out of card before we arrived; yet told by Booking.com we would pay on arrival. Told the bar was now the laundry room. Room was excellent great view of the sea once we had climbed all the stairs to get there, Breakfast was great, staff similar. They apologised for the lack of parking...
