Stayed a couple of nights here and reckon it was only average. The room was quite small. Breakfast was good but there wasn't a choice. John asked if we wanted s cooked breakfast in a slightly sarcastic fashion. Next day he did ask. Shower was good but small. Towels and linen were average. Rooms didn't have very good noise insulation...

Our host John is a very witty musician who also loves cars, an ideal chatterbox for male guests. He prepares an excellent breakfast and of course knows all about the best places to visit in the beautiful lush Wales. Nobody could be more charming or accommodating, the rooms, though small, are lovely and cosy, the showers very good, and, unlike...

I really liked my stay here - John was very welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to arrive whenever we wanted, making breakfast for whenever we wanted it, even giving us lifts into Aber in the mornings! He fixed a silly oversight of ours when we bought a few bits of food, and forgot to refrigerate it before we left in...

Very warm welcome from John. B&B was spotless, breakfast was amazing, made to feel a very valued guest, great value for money. Felt very safe as a solo female travelling on business. Would highly recommend!

Just returned from a week at Penybont cottage. A spacious, bright, clean and modern 2 bed in Llangorwen - 2 miles from Aberystwyth. This has been our 3rd stay in as many years and we have loved this break every bit as much as the rest. Our children loved visiting the red kite centre to see the birds being fed,...

The place was a little difficult to find - I drove past it the first time, but it was well signposted, so a quick U-turn and I was back to where I needed to be. I was just there for the one night, but the host, John, couldn't have been more helpful. I warned him I was wanting to make...

We stayed here as it was near to my Mother whom we were visiting. That was the reason for our first visit. The warm welcome, sumptuous accommodation, beautiful surroundings and, most of all, the peace and tranquillity that would be a balm to anyone\'s soul will be the reason we return. Waking in the morning to the sound of birdsong...

A spacious, modern and clean place to call home for the week! Soft beds, big sofa’s, hot pressured showers, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, sky TV and Wifi! Very Happy! I have four children under 8 years and there was lots of space and they enjoyed playing in the grounds. Great location to!
