My better half, 6 week old son and I stayed here Saturday night. Good stuff: Discount on parking. Cosy, not too hectic bar. Restaurant away from drinkers. Helpful, friendly staff. Quite warm rooms. Powerful shower. Fantastic breakfast. Great location. Building full of character, old beams etc.. we love that kind of stuff. Not so good stuff: Rooms are a bit...

Ye Olde Talbot pub & dining is great as we had dinner here & that & the breakfast was good. The room however was very basic, no effort in making it look nice especially the very tired bathroom. The bedroom walls are also very thin! All in all ok for a £60 room as it came with breakfast but would...

Had to attend a family funeral, booked 2 weeks in advance. Arrived mid afternoon and was checked in by a very helpful girl on the desk, we had room 22 which was fine, nothing fantastic but nothing wrong with it either. Bathroom on closer inspection was a bit tired and quite a bit of dust on the pipes along the...

Stayed on a freezing cold February night, received warm welcome on reception and good to find that the Hotel was well heated throughout. As stated previously the Hotel has an excellent location for all amenities and riverside walks. Although no parking at the Hotel the NCP is only metres away with residents given a reasonable discounted rate. Regarding the Hotel...

Very good value. Room was nothing special and bathroom a bit dilapidated. But the location is perfect for a night in Worcester, with car park next door at an additional cost. Bar downstairs lively and nice wines. Breakfast included and very nice although we came down about 30 minutes before breakfast finished and there was no pastries/juice left, but cooked breakfast...

Arrived after a long drive on Friday night and just wanted to drop our bags an eat. Was greeted by Sam who gave us all the info we needed and the keys to room 6. We have stayed in many Old English hotels and this room was to the normal standard. I went straight down to Sam who moved us...

This hotel represents excellent value for money but lets itself down in several areas. There is always a very good fresh fruit salad on the buffet table at breakfast but none was available on either morning of our two night stay. We were a set of towels short in our room and getting a second set proved difficult. Meals were...

For New Year's eve we had reserved a table at a nearby Italian restaurant, as this hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the restaurant and we had stayed before, we booked t 2-night BB stay. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. We returned to the hotel to see in the New...

We booked quite late and this was available. For the price it's okay. The room was clean and a good size. Quirky slope, but that's part of the building, overall fine. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The staff are all young and in the main okay. The place needs a pick me up, but overall it's okay for one...

We were greeted by a receptionist who had obviously been to the Basil Fawlty school of hotel management. She made it very clear to us that she had other things to do rather than spending time booking us in! After this curt welcome we found our room clean but shabby & with a distinctly unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke in...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Ye Olde Talbot, I am sorry to hear your comments in regards to the noise disturbance during your stay, due to the age and stature of the building noises are more distinct than in newly built hotels. I have taken on board your comments and passed them onto our...
