Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Ascot The hotel was comfortable but not suitable for handicapped as there is no lift. There is a small car park with a daily charge The hotel is just a short distance from the long walk/drive to Windsor castle and is only a short walk into the town centre Staff were friendly and service...

Lovely hotel, check in very easy. Young man on reception very helpful took our bags whilst we parked and answered any questions we had. The only thing that seriously let's this place down is breakfast....one slice of toast each brought to us on a saucer! One white and one brown no offer of what we would like!! Lovely little pots...

Dear Guest. Many thanks for your review; I am delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found the staff and service very friendly. In reference to the buffet breakfast I can only apologise for the lack of freshness and quality – this has been discussed with our operations manager and I am confident we...

Little gem, with lovely staff. We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 12 ladies going to the races for my daughters hen party. We had the sole use of a very comfortable lounge, which meant we could relax and socialise on a very busy weekend, and not worry about disturbing other guests. We could see the horse drawn carriages going through the...

Have just returned from staying 2 nights here whilst visiting Royal Ascot.I found the staff to be very friendly and efficient, and organizing taxis to transport 8 people to ascot and back was done with no problems at all.The rooms were clean, tidy and while not overly large were perfectly adequate. The hotel is a charming old building with all the quirks and...

This is an ok hotel. Lots of stairs..no lifts...so be aware if you have a lot of luggage like myself. My head office booked the hotel with a credit card but the receptionist insisted that l provide a personal credit card too...their company policy in case l wanted any extras. I insisted that l did not want any extras but...

I didn't read any reviews before staying at this hotel and I'm glad I didn't, as I would probably not have booked based on them alone. However having had a great stay I felt compelled to write my own review. Outside appearance clean, well maintained, secluded garden (yes on main road but very little traffic - cars or pedestrians) and...

I really regret not looking at tripadvisor before booking this hotel, especially for the price we paid... There are many others who have reported the same problems! A 5 minute walk from windsor castle and with a hearty breakfast (needing fried eggs!) this hotel has many strengths. However, the cramped room, however clean and air-conditioned, wasn't suitable for a standard...

Stayed two nights, hotel itself very clean and reception staff helpful and friendly, can't say the same for breakfast staff. Asked for granary bread only choice white or brown (this is 4star) no low fat spread just butter and waiter joked. It would help raise my cholesterol! Have just had heart surgery, not funny. I wanted two slices of toast...

Would not go back here... the hotel looks ok from the outside... but small, with barely space in the bathrooms to turn around.. The staff was very friendly though and the breakfast spread was OK... the cab driver would take some time and never arrive in time (I think they found it difficult to locate or the person at the...

Dear Guest. Many thanks for your review. I am pleased to read that you rate our staff as friendly and that you enjoyed your breakfast whist visiting Windsor. During your stay the famous Windsor horse show was in full operation leading to some mayor delays in taxi operating times – unfortunately this is out of our control. Looking at your...
