It's very central, clean, entirely adequate for the purpose, but somehow ungenerous and rather expensive for what you receive. For instance, you get given a round of toast each, unasked, at breakfast, but nobody asks whether you'd like any more, or offers you a choice of white or brown. The first morning we had to ask for marmalade, and at...

Many thanks for your comments as we do find these very useful. I am pleased that you found the Hotel in a good position and the cleanliness was of a good standard. With regards to the breakfast, I am disappointed to hear that you were not offered a choice of white or brown bread for your toast, as this something...

We know Windsor so we knew the hotel location would be ideal. We're British so we also expect our hotel experiences to be amusing or annoying and cringe when we imagine what overseas visitors might think. As you would expect from an old building, or buildings stuck together, the interior lay out was hilarious and intriguing, three different ways to...

Many thanks for your comments as we do find these very useful. We are pleased to hear that you found the location ideal for your stay and that as you would expect from the age of the building the layout would be different to a newer modern Hotel. I am surprised to learn a member of staff "lacked personality" as...

Part of a family stay for a wedding. Bathroom had been refurbished and look modern for the building. Beds were fairly comfortable (and I was ill at the time). The rooms were a little cramped. Travelling from the other side of the world as a couple, 2 bags take up a lot of room. It is a little pricey but...

Many thanks for your comments for your recent stay with us. All of our double bedrooms are different shapes and sizes and if you were to think of staying with us again you may find the Superior Double bedrooms would provide more space and therefore a more comfortable stay. Please do think of us again on any upcoming visit to...

I stayed at this hotel for a team meeting and I have to say that the hotel team were fantastic in arranging everything. The service was second to none. Great location, nice rooms. The breakfast choice is large and very well cooked. I would recommend this hotel.

OK, here we go. My first impression was the manky bed throw encrusted with old food stuff and I quickly put the case over it. That did not kid the misses though and she kept her shoes on the whole time. Even kept them at the side of the bed for through the night to go the loo. Generally the...

Many thanks for your comments as we do find these very useful. With regards to the cleanliness of the bed throw and the room in general we appreciate this did not make a very good first impression. Had we been advised of this when you checked in we would have rectified this immediately and we can now only sincerely apologise...

Stayed here several times before over last few years and not had issues until now The small single was exactly that, but the bed uncomfortable. Not worth the £90 Breakfast was a "piece" of tomato, cremated black pudding the size of a £2 coin. Bacon that was cooked to a crisp. The only part cooked to order was the egg....

My feelings are that too many hotels, which are locatd in significant locations, get away with it- higher charges for below standard delivery and customer expectations. The room was reasonable, but noise between rooms un exceptable. Breakfast, super speedy, but lower quality than i would hope. Departure customer service, requires consideration The Hotel, should look at its profile- it should...

Third visit to the RA; best service yet. Our superior room was spacious and well laid out, only slight problem -we could hear other guests through wall.
