Small bedroom and en suite shower all quite tidy and despite other reports, clean bed linen. The rooms are above a pub and accessed via a separate side access door. Narrow stairs to rooms. No lift. No real reception you just check in at the bar, and after closing time there is no service of any type. The car park... More

First thing they ask for is your credit card....no offer of paying by cash. The rooms are adjacent to the Public house and are comfortable, clean and adequate enough. Breakfast served in a dirty area known as the Conservatory, although breakfast is very nice. location is very good to local amenities i.e. Castle, Theatre, Thames etc However, be warned, with... We had booked this room online from the United States. When we arrived we were asked immediately for our credit card which the bar attendant ran. Upon arriving in our room we discovered mold in the shower. That's when we saw the reviews for bed bugs. To say this was even remotely a decent accommodation would be an overstatement. We... More

I was very disappointed with my stay in this hotel ! It was a very ordinary hotel , going up 3 flights of narrow stairs with luggage is no joke at my time of life and was very difficult to say the least !The door was difficult to open or close , the room was a reasonable size and clean!... More

Location good but that was the only positive. We were given room 4 on the second floor up narrow stairs through a shabby front door off the street. We were expecting " a large double bed " but it was actually a very small double bed. No wifi which was also promised. Bathroom was a disgrace, no fan, filthy ancient... More

This place, although well situated in Windsor, needs a good makeover, and better check-in/check out arrangements, who was in charge goodness knows. One of my party told the girl about the loo being faulty but there was no apology, nothing. There was a muddle over my booking to begin with. Room was clean but little things like the loo roll... We were bitten by bed bugs, had to leave the room and try and sleep in car, obviously we didn't sleep at all. Read a recent review where someone else was bitten too, the place is filthy! Parking a problem, only 5 spaces. Avoid this place like the plague or you may well end up catching it!!

Small but reasonably equipped room . Terribly hot though. WiFi didnt work at all despite it being advertised as `Free wi-fi`` . Presume it only works in the Pub part.. but they should specify that . TV didnt work v well and to sort it we had to prop it up. Fridge was helpful but as no meals provided a... More

Four stars for the overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable. The accommodation is adjacent to the car park, each with their own access, the ground floor great for people who may have trouble with stairs. We had a problem with the TV and this was fixed promptly. Quite nice to be able to open your... More
