Stayed for 5 nights as a family of 4 in room 1 - large first floor room with plenty of room for us all. Huge ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower. Tea and coffee, biscuits and water replenished every day. Flat screen TV with decent range of channels and free WIFI (although connection not consistent). Doreen is a very...

We stayed 3 nights(1 single & 1 double room), mid-week in the Easter holiday week. the house is a lovely 1930`s detached with a large garden & views across the fields. Doreen is a charming & perfect host, the whole house is spotless & the bedrooms are immaculate. The shower in our en-suite was wonderful. The breakfast was to a...

Easy to book by phone or Internet. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. the location was ideal and the room booked more than met our expectations. A wide choice was available which would suit most people. Had the full cooked breakfast each morning and was never disappointed. Would recommend to anyone and would...

I inquired about a room just two nights before our arrival and received a quick response that she had one room remaining. It was the large superior room. There were only 2 of us but 4 people could sleep in this room. The grounds are lovely and there's plenty of space to roam and walk, there's even a duck pond....

Stayed here several times over the years. Very nice people there, and very quiet. Not handy as far as walking to dinner (only place close is the Hungry Horse), must cab to town. Stayed on business, and was MUCH better then less expensive hotels! Big room (suite) is nice, but a bit odd as far as layout.

We recently stayed 2 nights in Rainworth house on a trip to Legoland which we found to be a delightful experience. Doreen looked after us so well and made us feel very welcome. It is difficult to find nice accommodation for 5 people so we were delighted when we came across Rainworth House. It is close to Legoland and we...

We (both 33y) stayed 2 nights at Rainworth with our 2 year old daughter in the 'Family Room' (n° 6). The room made us feel as if we were royals ourselfs: one magnificent four-poster bed and 2 normal beds, all with excellent mattresses and clean sheets. The well-kept bathroom had a rain-shower, 2 wash basins a toilet and a towel...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Rainworth and it was really lovely. We used to live in Windsor and were visiting for a christening. I had seen the sign to Rainworth as I passed it every day on the way to and from work and am so pleased I booked for us to stay as the...

Even before we arrived, I felt we would enjoy our stay. I had spoken to Doreen on the telephone and found her to be very friendly and helpful. She and husband Robert went that extra bit to make our stay enjoyable. Doreen offers a very generous breakfast that can keep you going most of the day. With the amount of...
