Hotel is in a decent location with free parking. Stayed for 3 nights on business and the food in the bar was pretty decent (didn't dine in the restaurant). Rooms (and the hotel in general) is a bit tired and in need of a spruce up, but the room was clean comfortable and the place had character. Staff were exceptionally...

I always stay at his hotel when in the Maidenhead area and I give it 5 stars because of the care and attention of the family owners. OK, it may need a few bits of repair but it is very clean, brightly decorated and always includes breakfast which is freshly prepared and good ingredients and you can have as much...

The hotel is delightfully located right on the river Thames and the view from my room enhanced my stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful which is always nice after a long drive. The hotel is very dated and my room in particular looked like it had last been decorated in the 80's. However old and tatty it looked...

We've been before and the pleaser warm welcome .. nothing is too much trouble for the people looking after everyone... they have a few new rooms since last time. Very clean and simple but warm atmosphere with friendly reception and a first rate restaurant.. Will come again. Best rates for weekend around.. with breakfast for 2.... superb value

The reason we stayed was it was the most reasonable within the Heathrow/Windsor/Maidenhead corridor, so we couldn't be too fussy. The room (family room on the 3rd floor) was adequately sized for 2 adults and a child, workable TV with plenty of channels, decent shower room, kettle with various drink options, plenty of towels and bedding. Overall it just wasn't...

Full disclosure. I booked here in a rush due to a short notice business meeting. When I stay in Maidenhead I typically book the Thames Riviera which is just up the road and I booked the similarly named Thames Hotel by mistake. So it's on me but you live and learn. Pro's: The location was OK for my needs. About...

The Thames hotel is a stone's throw from the river in Maidenhead. Our family room had a lovely river view - it's an excellent setting. The hotel is small-ish (just over 30 rooms) and independent. It lacks some of the corporate lavishness of chain hotels - service is sincere, but not polished - and the decor would benefit from a...

Dear Malcolm, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you enjoyed the lovely River view from the second floor. Our family rooms are slightly different, the one which you stayed in has 2 separate rooms and the other has all the beds in one room. We usually use the other one for families with smaller...

Although don't take room 113 because nothing works properly there. Breakfast have quite a good option though same option every day. Staff...

Great location, overlooking the Thames and good parking. Hotel is of the "old school" type, no lift and rather dated. Our room was fine and the bed very comfortable, once the obligatory incontinence sheet had been removed! Unfortunately we could not get the TV to work, despite following the instructions to the letter. We didn't call for assistance because I...
