My husband and I stayed at this hotel this weekend. The location was great, the staff were helpful and the rest of the hotel looked nice HOWEVER we were given a terrible room which was small, boiling hot with a very very poor air conditioning unit and if you opened the window even slightly there was an instant overpowering stench...

Great location, great views, lovely staff, rooms were warm, but fans provided as if you open windows you get bitten! All in all very good for a night or two. Parking busy, and entrance. Is messy as right on an island. Would recommend , but quite expensive.

We didn't really know what to expect as the reviews for the hotel and its restaurant seem so variable. Perhaps it depends on which room you get. We were in a large family room overlooking the river (104) and for us it was a really nice spacious room looking out over the garden and river. As we stayed on a...

I stayed the evening of the 16th August as I wanted a good location just outside of Slough where I was due for a business meeting on the Monday. On check in I was told that I was in room 307. There was no offer to help carry my bags to the room. When I looked through the bedroom windows...

Great views...nice location and friendly staff. I only paid 39 pound for my stay here for one night. Ofcourse at that price I cannot really grumble too much. Clean and spacious room, good wifi connections and in site parking. The weather was beautiful so there were plenty of people sat enjoying by the river thames. Would I visit again...? Yes!

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend. We got stuck in lots of traffic due to the entrance being on the right but straight off a roundabout. The hotel looked very tatty and in need of a lick of paint. It did not live up to the pictures at all. The room was quite spacious which was nice. but...

Overall, this hotel is functional and in a lovely location. I've rated it average because I found the room to be a little tired and in need of a refresh. There was a sign instructing us not to open the windows due to insects on the river, but on a hot summer evening there wasn't an adequate alternative to ventilate...

Ok so as far as hotels go, it was pretty good. We booked an overnight stay as we had a table at the Hand and flowers booked and we lived a good few hours away. I asked to be upgraded if any cancellations came available as it was our anniversary and when we came to check in, we were advised...

I booked this hotel via Laterooms as I was working nearby. The hotel does have lovely views of the river but on the whole while there was nothing worth complaining about, there was also nothing would make me return. The cost was more than that of a Travelodge but the room was tiny with a wall on one side of...
