I was on a business trip and the place was of a reasonable price given it was half term and everywhere is Windsor was over priced. The hotel was only 15-20 mins to Windsor in the car which was handy. My room was in the annex building room 410. The room was clean and well presented if you didn't look...

Had an afternoon tea today booked through Groupon. Have to say it was not the best I've tried. Tea & prosecco were lovely but the sandwiches were dry, the scones were raw & served with marmalade as they had no jam, staff were polite & apologised with a 2nd batch of scones that were hot on the outside but cold...

I have been searching for a reasonably low cost, good quality hotel within striking distance of Slough, and after several attempts I am happy that I have found it. The Thames Riviera has a variety of rooms. Mine was for a single adult, and while it was fairly small (not a suite!!), I would say it was more than comfortable....

On a Wednesday afternoon I decided to surprise my daughter and take her out to an afternoon tea which she was wanting to go to for so long. I searched on trip advisor and found this hotel. I picked up my daughter after school and off we went . My daughter admired the view and so did I ! She...

When I visit my head office I always make sure I stay at the Thames Riviera. The staff are friendly, the rooms nice and clean and there's the great bar and restaurant. The breakfast is also especially good and they've recently changed it to self service so I can have all the black pudding I wanted! :-) Highly recommended.

Staff really ruined this trip for us to the point that we tried to cancel our second night and we're told we would be charged, yet we still left and booked another night at Village Urban Hotel, Elstree. To start with they took a Pre-authorisation of £150 on a 2 night stay of £104. This would have been absolutely fine,...

The Thames Riviera Hotel I think just needs a little more attention to detail and it could be so much better. A brilliant location and most staff are nice but there are a few that could do with a little more training in the customer service department. In fairness, there was a little renovation work going when we were there...

How to start well on checking they have a sign explaining they need a copy of photo ID normal for hotels until you realise they are going to treat you for the entire time of your stay as though your going to run off without paying, so I take out my driving licence and the clerk challenges me regarding smokeI...

I brought a Groupon voucher for tea with a glass of Presecco for £19 for two. Good value for money. We had excellent service (I have ready previous reviews). A good variety of sandwiches, two warm scones with jam and cream (not clotted, which was a shame), macoroons, mini eclairs and another mini cake. I think I can safely say...

I really don't know where to start. This place needs a complete overhaul possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. There are just no front of house skills. On our first morning out of a party of 14 only two were served the right breakfast we were the first of our party our order was taken first we were...
