This was a perfectly suitable for a solo trip and my 2 nights in Salisbury. Good location within walking distance to the cathedral and some fab shops. I felt very safe and the room was comfortable. Great price for the space.

Stayed here for one night to visit Salibury xmas markets. Had two rooms booked and found the check staff friendly and helpful. Rooms with en-suite bathrooms were very clean and comfortable-ish beds (mattress was to soft for me personnal taste). Only grip > the tea & coffee > cups where un-useable as there was a strong scenty smell and taste...

Visited sailsbury with a groups of friends for the Christmas markets, we booked three double rooms (2 people sharing) at the city lodge for one night. Usually even one star hotel rooms come with hot water but no not my room! very disappointed! Fortunately we were able to borrow our friends shower, but I would have been totally stuck if...

I stayed in a single room for a night in this lovely establishment - the front of house staff was very friendly. The room was also immaculately clean, something I need to feel good in a room. Double glazing prevented the noise from the street below, which was very necessary as it can get a bit raucous. Great night, would...

We arrived at the hotel , we received a friendly warm welcome from the receptionist who advised us of all we needed to know and more , very polite young man I must say. The rooms are clean and tidy with apples , biscuits , tea and coffee . The hotel doesn't do food which we knew before we booked...

There's nothing particularly special about this place - it's unpretentious and a little basic, but clean, comfortable and good value. The bed and the bedding were good quality, it was warm, and I had a restful night. No, it doesn't do breakfast, it's short on the niceties of life and if you're looking for a cosy holiday stay in historic...

Unfortunately I have to come to salisbury regularly. The rooms at Citylodge are basic. Always ask for a quite room without low ceilings. Toilet.... bathroom..... towels... all were dirty as are the spoons and cups. Never had a problem with re eption but then I do check out by 8am. Rooms are very cold and noisy.

We stayed one night at this hotel following a long drive from Birmingham. Unfortunately it has been one of the worst experience i have ever had. We reached the hotel at 3 am as we chose to travel during the night to avoid any traffic. The room which was allocated to us was tiny, freezing cold and dirty. You could...

We stayed one night in the City Lodge Hotel in Salisbury and it was very nice. The room was a good size and was clean with a relatively new looking washroom. The room wasn't facing the street which was great because there are a few night clubs across the street from the hotel. There was no breakfast included but they...
