What a fantastic place to stay! Really enjoyed staying here and was so sad to leave. Steve & Wenda are a lovely couple that made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one. From the fabulous breakfasts - which included home made bread, jams & marmalade and locally sourced produce (of which...

The central location made it easy to get to the cathedral (basically right across the street), restaurants and local businesses. Everything we needed as tourists was within easy walking distance, including a bus to Stonehenge. Both before and on our arrival, the hosts provided helpful information and suggestions about where to go, what to see, and how to get there....

Steve and Wenda really know how to treat their guests. The rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculately kept. The breakfasts were wonderful. We stayed here for five nights and thoroughly explored Salisbury and its environs including Stonehenge, Woodhenge and Old Sarum. Steve is a very knowledgeable historian and knows the city and area very well and gave us lots of...

Stayed at Cathedral View between the 9th and 13th of August.Guest house is located a stone's throw from the close and a 5 minute walk into town. Cathedral view room we stayed in was of a generous size and was well equipped and had a comfortable bed and pillows. Wenda's home made cake and cookies were a delicious addition to...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the B&B. It is incredibly well located within Salisbury and is just right outside the entry to the cathedral grounds. We were able to park across the street without problem for all the days we stayed there. Steve was like our own personal travel concierge and was incredibly helpful with recommendations, maps, and other...

A super review which we really appreciate. The rooms at the front of the house have good views of the Cathedral and secondary glazing which keeps traffic noise out. They also have air coolers.

This is a must for anyone who enjoys the bed and breakfast experience. Thank you so much to Steve and Wenda for making our stay so enjoyable. We will most certainly return.

Cathedral View is a homey and welcoming place. We opted for a room on the garden side, without a view of the Cathedral, thinking it would be more quiet. It was quiet, but I'm not sure there was any street noise anyway.Steve and Wenda could not have been better hosts. Steve is a great source of information about anything you...

I stayed at this wonderful B&B back in April. I had spent 2 weeks wondering around England, and I fell in love with Salisbury. Steve and Wenda were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The location cannot be beat, and was an inexpensive cab ride from the train station. The room was...
