The decor in the bar and restaurant was very attractive, and the friendly staff were very helpful. Our evening meal in the restaurant was very good. The bed was comfy and the room clean. A short walk, 10 minutes max, into Salisbury centre and the cathedral. I felt our particular room, 209, was a bit dismal, and dated-very 'brown' decor,...

Our room was a littke small and very hot, even in November, there is an aircon unit but is too noisy to have on at night. Could not fault the service, and the breakfast was excellent, with a good choice. Car park was fiarly small, but we were lucky and found a space as we were early. Quite expensive, but...

We stayed here for a couple of nights 2 rooms for our family of 3. The rooms were very nice and adjacent nice & clean with bath/shower (I would prefer a walk in shower tho' ). Breakfast excellent with a wide range of choice that could be ordered and small buffet arrangement for cereals , fruit, juice etc. My wife...

Booked a 2 night stay as a last minute treat (minimoon) following our wedding. Booked direct with hotel. Needed to arrange for flower delivery, and this was all sorted efficiently by email. Our room (302) was an executive double. It is definitely worth paying the extra for this as the room was decidedly more spacious. Incredibly comfy bed and spotlessly...

A really excellent weekend the rooms were perfect and ready when we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful in every respect, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent especially the banquet on Saturday evening the whole evening was first class and Ali Greenwood the events co-ordinator could not have been more helpful. The members of...

Stayed here on business. The hotel is well presented. The room was clean and comfy and well proportioned. However, it seemed that if you weren't known to the staff you were treated with contempt. Especially by the front of house manager. He greeted some Guests as old friends but when and enquire was made by me for anything he could...

I stayed here for one night. The hotel is a 10 min walk to city centre or 15 mins to rail station. Check in was done by a very friendly efficient member of staff. My room was very large and clean, a real bonus as a solo traveller. I was first down to breakfast which was very adequate. My only...

We visited for a one night stay travelling from Devon to London. Arrived to the great location, only 10 minutes from Salisbury town centre. The couple in the queue before us got a in depth check in, explaining all the services and where everything was and got offered a porter to take them to their room. When it came to...

Arrived as part of a large group. Very efficient check in. Breakfast a little chaotic the first morning but the other days they were well organised and very helpful. The location is wonderful only 10 mins walk to centre of Salisbury. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the centre of Salisbury and has free parking on site. We arrived earlier than the check-in time so had sandwiches (excellent) in the bar while we waited for the room to be ready. We interacted with the barman many times during our stay and he was always friendly and polite and a...
