This is a little cozy place. We stayed here with my daughter on our at to visit schools in Bruton Somerset. The place is OK. The rooms are good and cleanliness is of a good standard. However, we were very disappointed with the quality of breakfast. In fact, we decided to go to a local café in Salisbury and have...

We stayed two nights - Monday & Tuesday - on a Secret Escapes deal. Being honest the hotel itself, room & facilities are OK but no more than that. The main hotel building is, we thought, Georgian but the public rooms & bedrooms - ours at least - are much the same as you'd find in any mid- range hotel...

Nice hotel a short walk from town. There was a bi party on but we didn't hear a thing in our room at the back of the hotel. The room itself was great. A lovely size with loads of room and a spacious bathroom.

Stayed here for one night while on business in Salisbury, very friendly and welcoming on reception. The hotel has a nice quality feel to it, I had a superior room that was spacious, comfortable and well cleaned. Only thing I didn't like was the frosted window in the room, it's bad enough having net curtains in hotels but at least...

only stayed one night and we were part of a Masonic function. We have stayed in superior hotels, but I have to say that the staff and food made this one of the best we have ever stayed in. Without exception all the staff were very friendly and smiled lots! The food at the banquet was superb, I was not...

We chose this venue as a half way city & hotel for two old friends in the need for a quality catch up and relaxation.... Spa treatments were amazing (even with the pool being out of action) clearly high quality staff that know their trade, hotel rooms and breakfast was pretty reasonable certainly not four star in my eyes but...

Although this hotel is very nice and the facilities excellent my stay wlis being severely disrupted by the booming noise from the adjacent bedroom television. The hotel needs to invest in better soundproofing of the dividing walls. I will not get be able to get any sleep until my neighbouring room occupants decide to switch off their television. This is...

When we checked in the receptionist Jan proved to be efficient and knowledgeable. The reataurant was being refurbed so another room was used temporarily for meals, which were very good. No negatives about this hotel, but, it could use some low lighting in the bar. Will we go back YES.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a nice review. Your comments have been passed on to Jan and I have reviewed the lighting in the Bar & Lounge area of an evening to ensure the lighting creates a more warming area for all our guests. We look forward to welcoming you back in the not too...

Booked this through Secret Escapes as a last minute treat for myself and my boyfriend. We arrived early and even though check in is not until 3 we were able to get the keys immediately, the gentleman on reception was slightly blunt and too the point but it was a Friday afternoon. The spa was incredible and despite being small...

I've just read two reviews that summed up my experience here. 1 - overpriced. I definitely expected more of a wow factor for what I was paying. Relatives had stayed here 10 years ago and raved, and I expect 10 years ago it was a bit more impressive. Things were not old and tired, but the overall feel was not...
