We (family with two kids) stayed at Byways House on our trip to Cornwall. It is a wonderful and comfortable house, clean, tastefully furnished rooms, good location in a nice little town (only 5 min. walk to town center, 10 min. to cathedral) and delicious english breakfast. As it is only 2,5 hrs from Dover it is a good place...

We stayed here for one night as part of a quick family get away. Situated just 10 mins walk from the town square this hotel is perfect for a peaceful stay. This is a really nice, small friendly hotel. The owner is very helpful. Breakfast is served in a very bright sunny room and good choice of food. Would highly recommend good value for money.

stay here for 3 nights which included a weekend very clean guest house and very quite only a 10 minute walk from the town center the lady who ran it was very friendly we had a family room and the child bed was a proper bed not a put you up bed which was nice breakfast there was plenty of...

We stayed in the Family room with 4 single beds. It was our first night flying overseas & we enjoyed falling asleep quickly. Breakfast was wonderful & between the 4 of us; we all tried the different selections. Lots of nice; friendly folks. Loved the free carpark.

Price very good, rooms and ensuites clean and breakfast excellent. staff very very friendly and helpful. Was in good walking distance of cathedral and town.However room 17 shower was unuseable ( did inform management so they may sort it) and it was ground floor with patio doors so could not have a window open and wished I had asked to...

Lovely clean room, comfy bed. The guest lounge room was well set up with intertnet access. Location was quiet and handy to city centre. Breakfast was excellent.
